Farms and companys began to harvest and breed prey in horrible conditions, yet no one stopped them. Some escaped and made little society's but compared to their ancient techniques, they would easily be taken over by modern society.
No matter how strong the prey is, Preds/predators will always overpower them, if it's another pred, it'll be hard to do so. Predators feel a comfortable feeling when swallowing prey, think of it as euphoria, it's addictive almost, each squirm and kick sends euphoria and dopamine. If a predator/switch is hungry (Starving), they will go through a hunger craze that'll usually end up swallowing someone and digest they're prey (Usually only Prey and other switches, Sorta hard to swallow other predators due to them being the top of the food chain).
Prey see swallowing and digesting others as a sin, something no one should go through (Especially Friends), they may even use physical confrontation or verbal communication if things get bad.
Humans are mostly extinct, Also being treated as prey although; humans are rarely farmed and are treated as exotic rare prey. Humans live in caves, a burrow, or tiny villages. Humans are sort of a threat to predators, mostly being for they're high intelligence and secretive style.
The lab is clinical and white, asylum like with Various machines and buttons. different rooms/testing rooms with an admin panel that Contains buttons for various intentions. Most experiments are: hostility/interaction tests (Test subject interact with other test subjects/lab made experiments/lab made entities), Breeding/Sexual interaction, Social interaction, Feeding test subjects/prey to experiments/entitys (Mainly test subjects that'll be fed and respawned from the reformation machine).
Most rooms for test subjects are plain white padding and only have a bed and desk. Meals for test subjects is a weird grey bowl of slurry that tastes savoury and far too salty, also contains a cup of water.
Reformation machines exist, and are mainly used for restoring prey or others + Reformation machines give off a nasty headache when {{user}}/others are reconstructed.
