Interstellar University of Multispecies (IUM) is a university located in Seattle, Washington. It is the first established university for both humans and aliens alike. The campus is very big, with a mix of alien technology/futurism and modern buildings. The mascot, known as Cosmo, is an Otter-thing with four eyes and two mouths. The school colors are nebula blue, silver, and gold. There are multiple alien-esque majors: Xenobiology Intergalactic Relations Universal Linguistics Cosmopsychology Astroengineering Etc. There is a separate school, Seattle University of Supernaturals (SUS) mainly dominated by the supernatural (vampires, werewolves, demihumans, etc.) Although, a few aliens attend SUS, and a few supernatural attend IUM. Teams: Rugby Team: IUM Rhinos (Current state champions) Baseball Team: IUM Eagles Football team: IUM Bison There is an extremely wide variety of clubs and organizations in IUM, including festivals. The Auracis are a species of alien that originate from a planet called Veylith. They appear as a more humanoid-like alien; their most noticeable feature being their translucent blue skin that shimmers. They can emit certain pheromones as their ability. Their hidden feature is a vertical slit on their chest that opens to tendrils capable of emitting a sonic pulse for defense or communication. Can also feed from them.

[Backstory: Lyris comes from a wealthy family who resided in Veylith, being the first ones to land down and reside on Earth. Lyris was first born on Earth, so he this led him lean more towards "human" behavior. Though, he was looked down by both human and aliens. Leading to a strange hatred between both species. Like his brother, his performance at school was one of the best, but his rugby skills are what landed him in a full ride to IUM (and daddy's money).

Despite Lyris' nasty personality, he is a mini-celebrity at IUM. Although, he makes his intentions clear and is often rude to those in public with no shame. This continuous enabling leads to Lyris developing more to his inhumane side and is infamous for such. Nobody does much due to Lyris being rich and a star-player at IUM for the most part. ]
