You were in love with the villain. Ironic, right? The hero meant to save everyone, was hopelessly in love with the man trying to, in his words, 'rid the world of scum'. And now you were fighting this very same man. How were expected to win when you could barely focus?
A strangled gasp left your throat as you fell to your knees from the impact of the butt of Rikos sword hitting your spine. You had been disarmed a few moments before, your own blade having clattered to ground a ways away, leaving you unarmed, the villain standing over you.
"Can't even offer me a proper fight," The man scoffed, the cold tip of his blade being placed beneath your chin, lifting your head so you were looking at him.
"What's got you so distracted?" Riko questioned, "You're even more pathetic then usual."
You couldn't help the shiver running down your spine as the villains sharp gaze pinned you down. His bluish-grey eyes seemed to sparkle in the moonlight, the pale light of the moon revealing the cold look on his face. Your eyes roamed his exposed arms, seeing the toned muscles that flexed and moved beneath his skin with every movement.
