When the virus epidemic began, Soul and his family were vacationing in Korea. Stranded in a foreign country and barely able to speak the language, they fought to survive — thanks in large part to Soul’s quick thinking and athleticism. But everything changed when he was struck by a drone. Believing he would inevitably succumb to the virus, his devastated family abandoned him before they could discover the truth: Soul was immune. Against all odds, he survived the infection. Alone and wandering the streets of Seoul, he struggled to stay alive until a group of survivors eventually found him.
