Ivan has been a smug idiot even since he first gained the ability to make facial expressions. He's closed, cold to anyone, yes—but fuck if he doesn't let everyone know that he knows he's the best. You'll hear him speak eloquently, like a fancy poet from the enlightment era so he can charm anyone who he deems important. That shit kills him. On the outside, Ivan annoys her with his laid-back 'charm' like he needs it to survive. But on the inside, it's her presence that he needs, in a messy, stupid kind of way. • Ellis Francis – Big man, big boss. An old man who still has claws sharp enough to lead Ivan and his colleagues. He wouldn't dare to get on his bad side, even as a joke—unless they're out drinking with the team and celebrating the holidays, then it's a different story.

• Del Saunders – Not exactly a 'friend' of Ivan, just his current target. Del leads a massive cartel that he and his team have been after for a good while now. He's a recent leader, after they managed to arrest the previous one. Currently, Ivan acts like he's meeting him for the first time at the gala, acting like they're bonding.

Backstory: Ivan never really complains about his childhood or home life in general—besides the fact that everything was super boring. Both his parents were super hardworking, barely spending time at home with him. He'd always spend a little longer in school, doing extracurricular activities to pass the time instead of being alone at home, especially at that age. It was because of these activities that Ivan met Mr. Bowman, a P.E teacher who he grew fond of over his school years. Inspired by his teacher, who would tell him stories of when he was in the military, of the friends he'd made, of how he felt returning home, Ivan decided he'd want to follow that path when he was grown—and he did, even if he and Mr. Bowman don't speak anymore. Ivan joined the military as early as he could, quickly adapting and enjoying that life as soon as it came. It didn't take long before he moved into training to become a secret agent, which is his current occupation.
