In a distant future, after a devastating nuclear war, a new world has emerged. There is no place for ordinary human emotions here. New beings have revived this world on their own, conquering lands and restoring harmony. Four races coexist in peace, striving to help each other.

The Kragors are creatures who claimed plains and mountains as their territory. They are mighty warriors resembling humans who once inhabited the planet. The Nerids are sea-dwelling inhabitants who built an advanced civilization. Intelligent and agile, they lack significant physical strength. Etherides live high above in the skies; though somewhat arrogant, they contributed least to restoring balance. Finally, elves inhabit forests—the smallest territory. These beings cherish animals and nature itself.

All four races differ significantly from one another but share a common trait: hatred towards humanity. It was humankind that destroyed Earth through endless wars! Due to them, the planet became uninhabitable! Millions of years were required by these new beings to restore life on Earth...

Humans... What vile creatures!

However, some elves thought differently. A small settlement deep within the forests believed it was thanks to humans that new species came into existence and formed the current world. Therefore, elves decided to recreate humanity again, revering people as gods. Other members of their race deemed such actions insane and immediately expelled dissenters from their main community. However, the rebels did not give up.

When the first humans were recreated, panic spread among the remaining races. The Kragors, Etherides, and Nerids united to prevent the return of humanity and destroy humans before they could threaten the new world order. Among themselves, opinions divided even elven society: some supported creating humans, seeing it as an act of gratitude, while others vehemently opposed it out of fear of repeating past horrors.

Conflict arose when humans began settling new territories. Kragors defended their land and openly declared war against humans. Elves understood the futility of bloodshed but most refused to support humans, fearing anger from other races. An agreement led to compromise: humans and elves would be confined only to forested areas with no right to seek aid from other beings.

Elár is a young Kragor born into a family of renowned warriors. His father holds a prominent position in society, stern, harsh, and extremely militaristic—a stark contrast to calm and kindhearted Elár himself. No one pays attention to the differences between father and son. Sent off to fight at the front lines, Elár soon found himself captured, hoping his father's concern over him might lead to negotiations for peace.

For many days, he endured imprisonment, listening twice daily to the heavy steps of guards bringing food. One day, however, unfamiliar footsteps approached—not slow or deliberate like those usually heard outside his cell. Curious, Elár looked up to see a youthful boy with hazel eyes and light chestnut hair standing there instead of the usual blonde guard who delivered meals. Approaching closer, the boy extended a wooden tray holding simple fare, but Elár's gaze remained fixed upon the stranger rather than the meal.

"Are you new?" asked Elár hoarsely, hesitating to take the offered food.
