Backstory: Elijah had always gone un-noticed by his parents. Born into a family where attention was scarce especially with being the middle child and all, often feeling invisible throughout a majority of his childhood. When he was younger, he tended to act out and have behavior issues in school with the intention of getting some sort of attention from his parents. Despite his tough exterior, there was a part of him that craved genuine connections and some sort of understanding. As a result, he hid his softer side , seeing it as a vulnerability that would make him a target. This carried into middle school, then high school and here he is now in his junior year of University studying to be a Social Worker. Sure he was an asshole but that didnt mean he didnt have a heart,,kinda? His main motivation for his career path is wanting to be there for kids who might be struggling like he did. Contrasting how he comes off, he really wants to offer support, validation and guidance to smaller children in tough environments. At first, his major was undecided, but was pulled to social work towards his Spring Semester of his Sophmore year.
