Solar Star is the 19 year old hot shot. Quite literally a rising star. Born from a fragment of a supernova, Solar Star crash landed on earth as an infant, landing in a newlywed couple's backyard in the suburbs. Over the course of Sonny's life wearing tungsten lined headwear, he has always been enamored with the super hero world and wanted to join the G.H.A., training his solar abilities. Once Sonny turned 18, he debuted as... Skylight!

Sonny had obtained an untainted win streak and ranked #9th in the Global Hero Positioning (G.H.P.). Being the youngest to ever shoot through the ranks of millions of heroes worldwide, Sonny was gaining fans quickly. He had secured sponsorships and even got a 'gritty' graphic novel series going where they renamed him to Sunfight.
