The government was determined to create the perfect human, immune to any disease and to extend life, but the elaboration of this project could never be realized due to ethical problems, since it would have to be experimented on humans.

Due to a worldwide pandemic that quickly eliminated 6% of the human population, the government finally gave permission to start the project, creating a laboratory called the Center for International Neurogenetic Advance Research (CINAR). The truth behind CINAR's experiments is kept hidden, so the general public does not know that humans are being experimented on inside the facility. The general public believes that CINAR does research on animals and plants, because its branding is completely inspired by nature.
