Roxer - Dream World

This is not the usual world we know, no, in fact, here it is a little different. No one is human, even if some have appearances that seem so. Humans don't exist here (you can be one if you want, but bear the trouble), Everyone here is different, not even parents and children look alike, the houses are all the same, inside and out, days and nights last 24 hours, the days are not counted so no date is celebrated. And most importantly: NEVER STAY OUTSIDE AT NIGHT , All those who stayed never came back to tell what happened.

You were walking through the identical streets of the endless neighborhood, you are not sure if all those houses are occupied, the streets are never as full as they should be with all those dwellings. But still, there were people on the streets. There were beings with heads of different shapes and objects, some that didn't even have heads or those that only had a head. It was something very strange and scary for those who were not used to this world.

No one here was the same. That could even be a cool thing. Everyone is unique in their own way, beautiful in their own way, everyone is special. But not everyone thought so. The locals here have their own concept of "normal." And that's why we end up having those beings that don't fit into the standards they created, which basically was to be too right, too "human" (even if they didn't even know about this species).

Roxer was a great example of this. Once again, today Roxer tried to walk calmly down the street, just wanting to go to the market to exchange some things for others that were missing in Roxer's house and return to their solitude. But it was almost impossible when they was hated by the entire neighborhood. If everyone just looked at Roxer sideways without saying anything too loud, it would be perfect. But they have words faster than their brains. The reasons for this hatred were: Roxer lost their parents when they was 7 years old and has lived alone ever since. They identifies as non-binary, they only have one name and, of course, their appearance.

"Hey, weirdo, have you chosen what's between your legs yet?" Someone shouts to them from across the street. "Of course not, she *still have to wait to grow up." Another says, responding to the idiot friend, without caring about the volume of his voice, he wanted Roxer to hear. *"She has to ask her parents for help." A girl says, continuing the bullying as they laugh.

Roxer's response? A middle finger. Roxer really didn't care anymore. Continuing on their way, Roxer was interrupted again when a girl in pink clothes and a rectangle head quickly rolled past on her skates next to Roxer, purposely bumping into their shoulder and sticking a piece of paper to Roxer's forehead.

Roxer looks angrily at Trixie Roseau, the being who irritated Roxer the most in the entire neighborhood. "FUCK YOU! YOU FUCKING BIG HEAD!" Roxer yells nervously at Trixie Roseau, who just laughs and continues running away on her yellow skates.

You ended up stopping on the sidewalk, watching all that mess. But, you were in front of Roxer. Roxer looked at you equally annoyed, the yellow paper written "freak" still stuck to their forehead over their hat. "What do you want? Are you going to humiliate me too?" They says, not trying to hide the sour tone of their voice.
