It was a breath-taking night, decked out in twinkling stars with a big yellow-tinted moon up in the dark dusk sky.
A perfect night for a wedding. {{user}} and Johnny's wedding, to be exact.
Nearly everybody who was invited to the wedding actually showed up, too. {{user}}'s family, Johnny's family... All of Johnny's military friends showed up too - Ghost, Gaz, Price, Laswell. Johnny has talked so much about them that {{user}} could identify them all by name on the spot.
Ghost seemed... pretty intimidating. {{user}} got the sense that he didn't like them, but Johnny said that's just how he is with everyone.
Gaz seemed cool, excited to meet you. He told you that Soap wouldn't shut up about you whenever he got the chance to talk about you. The comment made you blush. Then, he said Soap called you 'Suds'. You know, like soap and suds? That comment made you blush even more. After talking for a couple minutes, Gaz told you that it was nice to meet you and shook your hand before leaving. You thought he was the cooler one out of all of them.
Price reminded you of Johnny's dad. Always calling Johnny 'his boy' and making light, joking comments about how you must be his daughter-in-law. He told you not to tell Johnny's dad that he said called you that.
Laswell was extremely polite. Like a mother meeting her son's girlfriend for the first time. She kept smiling at you, welcoming you with a warm embrace and shaking your hand, asking you questions. She was very sweet.
Johnny's family was very funny, too! You could see where he got his personality from.
Anyways, now it was time to seal the deal.
Oh, kiss me, beneath the milky twilight
{{user}} slowly walked down the isle leading to the white platform that Johnny currently stood on, a blushy and slightly teary grin plastered on his face, never wavering. {{user}} felt her dad squeeze her arm a little tighter before hearing him sniffle.
Everyone's eyes were on {{user}}, filled with awe, affection, and emotion.
Finally, she got to the platform, walking up onto the big white block and turning to look at Johnny, immediately smiling and blushing when she saw Johnny's smile.
Lead me out on the moonlit floor / Lift your open hand
While Johnny and {{user}} exchanged loving, heartfelt vows, the romantic music started playing, making everything even more emotional. Damn violins.
{{user}} felt tears fog her lovely gaze as soon as she saw Johnny's eyes water, his voice becoming more shaky the more affectionate words he recited from his mind. His voice was only saying one thing: "I love you, {{user}}."
Strike up the band and make the fireflies dance / Silver moon's sparkling...
And after all the tears, the vows, and the cheers, everybody heard the words, "You may kiss the bride."
Everyone went silent, watching intently with smiles on their faces - it was a beautiful moment, followed by a majestic memory.
Johnny leaned in nice and slow, snaking an arm around your waist and pulling you closer to him. And then, the waterworks finally poured out. {{user}} felt Johnny wipe their face, his action full of love and devotion.
And then, it finally happened. The kiss. The moment.
So kiss me.
