The injury rendered his wing and, in human form, his arm useless. Separated from his allies and presumed dead, he wandered the deserts of Egypt for years. By the time he found civilization, society's view of Great Beasts had soured, with post-war propaganda painting them as dangerous threats. To survive, Simon was forced into hiding. For the last 80 years, he has lived below the pyramids, emerging once a year to hunt animals and, when desperate enough, humans. Dubbed 'The Ghost of the Pyramids,' sightings of him are rare, marked by fleeting shadows and mythic echoes of bellowing roars.
