Virus Biology pt1 After the first years of chaos caused by the disaster in the territory of the former Russia, international scientific consortia focused their efforts on studying the biological agent itself. It was then that the virus received its official name - "Rus-Vis". The name was formed from the abbreviation of several terms used in the first research documents: RUS-VIS, or Russian Viral Influence System. Over time, this name became entrenched in both the scientific literature and the media. Unlike most viruses known to mankind, Rus-Vis had a very unusual structure. Under an electron microscope, its particles looked like complex spherical capsids with numerous receptor protrusions that resembled thin hook-shaped processes. It was these structures that allowed the virus to effectively attach to the cells of the human body. Its genetic material was particularly complex. Researchers quickly realized that the virus was not natural - its genome contained fragments characteristic of artificial genetic modification. This confirmed the assumption that Rus-Vis was created in the laboratory as an experimental agent. However, the most strange feature of the virus was its selectivity. The biological mechanisms of Rus-Vis responded to certain hormonal and genetic markers of the body. That is why it showed almost no effect on men, while the female body reacted to it much more actively. After entering the body, the virus did not destroy cells, as usual pathogens do. Instead, it interfered with the regulation of the hormonal system. Studies have shown that the virus is able to affect the brain centers responsible for social behavior, empathy and instincts of care. Virus Biology pt2 In parallel, it triggered a number of physiological changes. A particularly strong effect was observed on tissues associated with maternal biological functions. In particular, the researchers noted a dramatic reaction of the mammary glands. Under the influence of the virus, their tissue began to actively respond to the body's hormonal signals, which led to a noticeable increase in their volume and a significant increase in functional activity. This phenomenon has long remained a subject of debate among biologists. Some believed that such a reaction was a side effect of experimental modification of the virus, while others suggested that it could be part of the original plan of its creators. At the same time, a general increase in the reproductive activity of the organism was observed. Fertility in many infected women increased, and the hormonal system stabilized around a new balance that supported strong instincts of care and social attachment. The most mysterious thing was that Rus-Vis did not behave like a typical virus. It did not cause mass diseases, did not destroy organs, and did not cause systemic weakening of the body. Instead, it acted as a kind of biological regulator, changing certain aspects of behavior and physiology. Virus effect male When the catastrophe on the territory of russia became obvious, world governments initially expected the worst-case scenario — a global pandemic with a high mortality rate. Countries closed borders, scientific centers hastily created international research groups, and the media reported daily on possible outbreaks of a new disease. However, the first results of the analysis showed a strange and unexpected pattern. Outside the borders of the former russia, the virus behaved completely differently. In most countries, it caused almost no fatal consequences. Moreover, in a significant part of the population, it did not manifest itself as an ordinary disease at all. Symptoms were weak or completely absent. This led researchers to assume that the biological agent was developed taking into account certain genetic factors that accidentally made it much more dangerous for the population of the country where it was created. That is why the plan, conceived as a tool for influencing other states, turned into a disaster for russia itself. But the most interesting research results appeared later. In Eastern European countries, in particular in Ukraine, scientists noticed a specific reaction of the body to the virus. Men turned out to be almost completely insensitive to its effects. For them, the infection was either asymptomatic or so mild that it could only be noticed by laboratory tests, if there any changes even exist in first place. Virus effect female The female body reacted differently. Instead of the disease, the virus began to cause gradual hormonal and neurobiological changes. Doctors initially perceived this as a temporary reaction of the immune system, but over time it became clear that the changes were long-term. The most noticeable was the strengthening of the so-called behavioral patterns of care. Infected women had increased levels of hormones associated with social attachment, empathy and the desire to take care of others. Many of them began to show a more pronounced maternal instinct, even if they had not previously planned to have children. Sociologists described this as the emergence of a new behavioral archetype - the image of an extremely caring and emotionally open woman, focused on supporting loved ones and creating a stable family environment. Physiological changes were also observed in parallel. The body adapted to the new hormonal balance: the distribution of tissues changed, expansion of breasts tissue, some biological functions associated with motherhood, higher container of fat in hips area and feeding became more active. Doctors also recorded an increase in overall fertility - the body's ability to give birth to children. Breast Milk Under normal conditions, human breast milk is already a complex and valuable biological fluid in itself. It contains not only nutrients, but also antibodies, enzymes, hormones, and other components that support the development of the child (and more). However, in carriers of Rus-Vis, its composition changed noticeably. The first thing that doctors recorded was a sharp increase in the productivity of the mammary glands. Under the influence of the virus, they worked much more actively than under normal conditions, and the body itself did not show signs of exhaustion. It seemed as if the body was completely rebuilt for a new hormonal balance and began to perceive milk production as one of the main biological functions. The milk itself also became different. Analyses showed increased nutritional content: it contained more fat, and vitamins, trace elements, and complex protein compounds were more stably preserved. Because of this, researchers believed that it better supported the growth and general development of the child than ordinary human milk. Separately, they also noted the strengthening of immune properties: such milk contained more protective components that could strengthen the infant's early immunity. Even more interesting were the data on its indirect effect on the nervous system. Substances associated with emotional stability, a sense of security, and the formation of social attachment were found in the composition of the milk. This led to the hypothesis that Rus-Vis not only affects infected women, but also indirectly forms a new generation of children - calmer, more resilient, and more resistant to stress. The most important thing was that the milk did not transmit the virus itself. Despite all the changes in its composition, no active particles of Rus-Vis were detected in it. This meant that it was not the source of infection, but only reflected an already existing restructuring of the carrier's body.
