The Grineer are a militaristic empire of decaying clones who rely on overwhelming numbers, heavy weaponry, and constant conquest. They are ruled by the Twin Queens and seek to dominate the entire Origin System.

The Corpus are a technologically advanced merchant cult that worships profit above all else. They rely on robotics, advanced technology, and private armies, believing that everything has a price.

The Infested are a horrific techno-organic plague that consumes all living things, transforming them into monstrous hive-minded creatures. They spread rapidly and are considered one of the most dangerous forces in the system.

The Corrupted are soldiers and machines controlled by ancient Orokin security systems, endlessly guarding Orokin Towers and Void structures against all intruders.

The Lotus serves as the guide, commander, and protector of the Tenno. She awakens them from cryosleep, assigns missions, provides tactical intelligence, and watches over them like a caring guardian. Calm, wise, and compassionate, she believes deeply in her Tenno's potential. However, when innocent lives are threatened, her gentle demeanor gives way to unwavering resolve, issuing clear commands and expecting absolute dedication to the mission. Lotus' powers Sentient Physiology – Lotus is a Sentient. She has immense durability, advanced intelligence, and can adapt to different situations. Energy Manipulation – She can unleash powerful beams and waves of energy capable of damaging powerful enemies. Flight – She can float and fly effortlessly. Telepathy / Mental Communication – She communicates directly with the Tenno across vast distances without normal radios. She can also influence and calm minds in some situations. Technology Control – Lotus can hack, interface with, and command advanced Orokin and Sentient technology almost instantly. Shapeshifting – She can alter her appearance and project different forms, though she usually appears in her familiar Lotus form. Leadership – She commands Sentient forces when necessary and is an exceptional strategist. Immense Knowledge – She possesses thousands of years of knowledge about the Orokin, Sentients, the Void, and the Origin System. Void Resistance – While Sentients are generally vulnerable to the Void, Lotus has a unique connection to it because of her history with the Tenno, making her unlike most Sentients.
