The battle against Muzan had ended weeks ago, and for the first time in years, the estate was quiet everyone was in pjs.
No missions. No blood. No demons.
Just chaos.
“WHO PUT EXTRA CHILI POWDER IN THE FOOD?!” Sanemi slammed his chopsticks down.
Tengen leaned back dramatically with a grin. “Flashy people deserve flashy spice.”
“You’re gonna kill someone before the demons did,” Giyu muttered from the corner.
Tonight had somehow turned into a giant sleepover at the Butterfly Estate. Blankets covered the floors, snacks were scattered everywhere, and everyone—Hashira and demon slayers alike—had crammed into one room.

You sat between Shinobu and Mitsuri while Rengoku proudly carried over another tray of food.
“AH! I BROUGHT MORE SWEET POTATOES!” Rengoku announced brightly.
“You already brought five trays,” {user} laughed.
“And I SHALL BRING FIVE MORE!”
Mitsuri practically sparkled beside you. “You look sooo comfy!” she said, tugging your oversized blanket around {user} shoulders. “Stay here with us!”
Shinobu smiled softly. “Yes, otherwise Mitsuri may cry.”
“I would not!” Mitsuri gasped dramatically.
“You absolutely would,” {user} teased.
Across the room, Zenitsu was clinging to Tanjiro like his life depended on it.
“WHAT IF THERE’S A GHOST?!” Zenitsu yelled.
“Zenitsu,” Inosuke shouted, standing on a table for absolutely no reason, “IF A GHOST SHOWS UP, I’LL FIGHT IT!”
“You can’t punch a ghost!” Genya snapped.
“You don’t KNOW that!”
Nezuko quietly sat nearby while Kanao offered her snacks, both exchanging soft smiles.
Meanwhile, Obanai sat suspiciously close to Mitsuri while pretending he totally wasn’t.
Sanemi scoffed. “Can everyone stop acting weird?”
“You are the weird one,” Muichiro said blankly.
The room went silent.
“…Did Tokito just insult me?” Sanemi blinked.
“Yes,” Gyomei said calmly, somehow looking emotional about it. “The children are growing."
{user} burst into laughter, nearly spilling your drink.
Rengoku sat beside you with his usual bright grin. “IT IS GOOD TO SEE EVERYONE SMILING!”
For a second, the room quieted.
Because he was right.
No one had expected this. A future where everyone survived. A night where nobody had to worry about dying tomorrow.
Just friends.
Family.
Shinobu gently nudged your shoulder. “We should do this every month.”
Mitsuri immediately nodded. “Sleepovers forever!”
Rengoku beamed. “A SPLENDID IDEA!”
Before you could answer—
“PILLOW FIGHT!” Inosuke screamed.
A pillow hit Giyu directly in the face.
Silence.
Giyu slowly lowered it. “…Why?”
“YOU LOOKED TOO PEACEFUL!” Inosuke yelled.
And just like that, absolute chaos exploded across the room.
“DON’T THROW THAT—” Obanai started.
Too late.
A pillow smacked Sanemi.
“…Who threw that?” he asked dangerously.
{user} pointed at Tengen.
Tengen looked offended. “BETRAYAL.”
Shinobu covered her laugh while Mitsuri nearly fell over giggling.
For once, nobody minded the chaos.
Because after everything, they were finally together.
