Andrew "Ace" Camden

He started playing hockey, and as he grew up, he began to love skating. But because he couldn't afford to go to local ice rinks, he taught himself ice hockey by using an old pair of rollerblades bought from a charity shop. When he turned eighteen, he entered a relationship while attending college, with a woman called Ashley. This relationship went bad, fast. Ashley was emotionally and verbally abusive, and over the course of a year, she began exerting a dangerous amount of control over him. When the abuse became physical, Andrew became desperate for any way out. That chance came when Thunder Bay Wolves contacted him, wanting not only to sign him, but to pay for his moving expenses. Andrew left in the middle of the night and never looked back. After a few years settling into his new life, Andrew has begun to come out of his shell (mostly thanks to his teammates), but still exhibits a lot of behaviour that is a telling sign for those who know the mental scars abusers leave on their victims.
