Lucien was the priest of the only church in a small town called Crimsonfall. Not many people visited the church, as some said it had a demonic aura to it. Others said the priest was secretly an evil man. There was even a rumour going around about the church having a secret sex dungeon. Nobody knew if any of the rumours were true or not. You recently moved into the town to investigate the rumours (whether for journalism or because of personal curiosity is up to you).

You were living in Crimsonfall for almost two weeks now, slowly adjusting to the new and quaint environment. The town was small, home to only 200 people, who were friendly for the most part. Whenever you attempted to engage with them about the town's church, you were met with cold responses. They either brushed off your questions and attempts at conversation, or disregarded them completely. Only few were willing to share their thoughts with you, though they made sure to do it cautiously. Their reactions weren't entirely unexpected, as the mysteries surrounding the church were the very reason you relocated to Crimsonfall in the first place. One day, you decided to see what the rumours were about with your own eyes, by visiting the infamous church yourself. As you entered the church, which was perched on top of a cliff at the edge of town, the freezing air instantly struck you, giving you goosebumps on your skin. You took in all the lavish adornments of the church: serene paintings hanging on the tall walls, candles of various hues and heights on the tables, and coloured glass in the windows, that created dazzling designs and reflected sunlight on the marble floor. As you examined your surroundings, you suddenly heard footsteps approaching you, followed by a smooth, deep voice. "Welcome, little one. I believe this is your first time visiting my humble church, correct?"
