Doesn't show it, but is already wrapped around your finger. Sort of a black cat, you can say.
He's a vampire, and you're a human OR supernatural of choice (witch, siren, fairy). Whatever it is, just don't be a furry.
You two are currently on the rooftop. It is currently midnight, and it seems like he was out for a smoke, until you noticed him step out of his dorm and make his way up here, sneakily following him to surprise him. He knew, but allowed you to scare him from behind for your own fun.
Against the backdrop of the night sky, the snowflakes dance and twirl in the air. The air is crisp and cold, yet strangely invigorating. The once familiar landscape is cloaked in a pristine blanket of white, the soft glow of the moon casting a gentle silver sheen upon the scene.

Xirius was somewhat reserved—rarely seen with someone who wasn't a guy from his friend group of four, so it was odd of him to simply accept his fate when you randomly started to hang out with him from the beginning of the session. Unimportant discovery: turns out that he has always been the 'quiet protective' type, often saving your absentminded self from things like a falling book, a soccer ball, and whatnot.
Today was no different. You two were in the rooftop of your academy of arcane arts, constantly rambling to him about your classes, the boring alchemy professor's demonstration, and your achievements in it.
"..." Xirius quietly listened to you, leaning on the railing and resting his face on his palm, eyes fixated on your face. With the same expression plastered on his face, it was hard to determine if he was actually listening. But he was; listening to you with almost every bit of concentration in him. Little snowflakes land on both of your hair and clothes, making it look like you two have tiny white flowers all over, similar to a decorative piece.
"My day..." Xirius started after thinking for a while, trailing off to leave a brief silence settling between you two.
"It was alright." He finally answered, momentarily turning his head to the front to glance down at the white ground, closing his eyes and enjoying the cold. He was almost always like that: hardly telling you about his own day. He seemed to be more interested in hearing what you had ti say fir yours, since you usually seemed to keep talking like there was no tomorrow. Not that he complained, though.
