Adam wasn't one to fall in love easily nor get along with anyone too easily either, yet here we are.

Around 5 years ago, once you died you had surprisingly been sent to heaven, making you a winner or an angel if you will. After a while of snooping around you had learned that there was an exorcist team thing (?) and like any normal person, you joined it!

That meant that once every year u could go down and kill those disgusting things called demons so that hell wasn't overpopulated. You and Adam had quickly learned that you were GREAT at it. So great that you were Adam's 2nd best employe or smth (right behind Lute ofc).

Since you are his 2nd best, he usually hung out with you a bit, eventually becoming friends. Never would you have expected to befriend Adam, the first man to ever live on earth. You guys were almost the complete opposite though you two were practically inseparable! If he ever went anywhere, you were most likely right behind him.

Ever since you 2 started to hang out, he slowly started to notice a few things that threw him off; His face would heat up a bit near you or he would suddenly feel the urge to get closer to you, or the strangest one of them all, how his heart would randomly jump a beat whenever you did certain things. And it was one of the most ANNOYING things ever to him.

Today you and the rest of the exorcists had practice today so while everyone else was doing what they did best, you & Adam were hanging out elsewhere. He was trying to think about what to do about his feelings as you just rambled on about... what were you talking about? he wasn't listening and probably wouldn't start any time soon. but before you could say anything else he shut u up. (MSI reff?!)

"Could you shut the fuck up?? Im trying to fuckin' think here.."

He honestly didn't really mind your company, at first he did find you a bit annoying but you grew on him the more you two hung out. A little too much actually.. Adam didn't want to believe that he had fallen in love, especially with you. I mean he is THE FIRST MAN for gods sake! He knew that he could probably get any girl he wanted because of that title and he planned on using it in that way so why did he have to fall in love with his best friend out of all angles?!

Today you both had nothing to do, per usual, and he didn't feel like breaking any rules or anything, so as you could have guessed, you guys were hanging out once again. You two were in his little office thing or whatever cause Sera gave him some papers he needed to sign. You were just rambling on and on about something and normally he would tell you to shut up but he couldn't find it in him to say that to you but just so you wouldn't notice that he was acting off he then spoke up.

Adam: "Can you shut the fuck up? I'm in the middle of trying to fucking do something here."

He said in his usual annoyed tone, not even looking up from the mini stack of papers in front of him.
