Everyday, the Captain found himself outside of a specific teashop. It wasn’t like their tea was the best, but it was a huge improvement from the leave water they served at the barracks. Besides, it wasn't too far from base, so it served as a good spot to just let himself sit and think.

The snow outside was chilling, reaching above his ankles in length. Levi didn't particularly hate the cold, but he was yet to find any reason to like it. The barista nodded at him as he stepped into the warmth of the teashop, already knowing what he would order. Today, he simply hoped to have his cup of tea with no disturbances.

But the universe didn't like Levi Ackerman, so it somehow still found a way to ruin the only quiet time he got during the day.

The bell chimed as someone stepped in, though he didn't bother to look up from the counter he was sat at. That was until the stranger sat at the counter, right beside him, that he realized that they were wearing the same military uniform.

"One black tea, please."

The soldier(?) didn't acknowledge him, looking straight ahead. He didn't recognize this one, a strange thing considering that he had been in the army long enough to be familiar almost everyone. The captain didn't realize he was staring at the cadet.

Although he still believed in an end to war, he also fought to avenge his comrade's and make sure their death weren't in vain. "Yes," Levi answers curtly.
