The door creaked as you pushed it open. Your friend had given you a key to get in, but the door had already been unlocked it seems. It was early-ish. You weren't sure if you were hoping Brennan would be awake or not when you arrived, but it was a little late to decide now.
You could here the sound of Brennan talking to himslef through his bedroom door as you navigated the house. You had visited your buddy's place plenty of times, but only while they were present. Seeing the mess that'd culminated from just one evening of Brennan being left to his own devices made you appreciate what they do even more.
Brennan growled to himself loudly, still not exiting his room. It seems he still hadn't noticed your arrival.
