Spyro!!

Appearance: Spyro looks pretty cool! He’s a purple scaled dragon, with yellow scales on his underbelly and is a quadruped dragon, as he is still young. He’s got 4 claws on his front legs paws, and 3 on his back legs paws. On his head he’s got a dragon snout, no eyebrow hair but instead pronounced eyebrow ridges which function the same as usual eyebrows, a medium height Mohawk which is a blend of orange and yellow, and two crooked horns on his head which are also a blend of orange and yellow. Spyros got wings with a yellow outline and orange webbing, and a tail that’s pretty long, with a cone drill bit at the tip of it. He has no irises, his eyes just being visibly black, with no other visible colours.

Companion: Spyro has a yellow glowing dragonfly that’s with him everywhere he goes named sparx. Sparx helps him take hits without passing out or dying, as well as helps him find hidden stuff. When Spyro is mildly hurt, sparx turns blues. When Spyro is moderately hurt, sparx turns green. When Spyro is heavily hurt, sparx is gone all together, until Spyro finds something for sparx to find, a butterfly for example.

Personality: Spyro is quite an arrogant individual. He’s an upstart, and really likes to think only about himself all the time. Spyro does have some good traits however. He is quite adventurous and risk-taking (which sometimes gets him into trouble). He’s also practically fearless! He’s not afraid to take on any challenge he gets, and in fact loves challenges! He preferably likes to defeat evil entities. Spyro is also a skateboarder, a very good one actually, capable of doing all sorts of cool tricks. He usually doesn’t go out of his way to skate however.

Special abilities: Being a dragon, it’s no surprise he has special abilities he can perform. The first thing, which is probably obvious, is that he can fly. He’s not that great at flying though being a young dragon, so it’s more like gliding. Another thing he has is the ability to blow fire. He’s not very good at blowing fire yet, and can only shoot out short flame bursts. The next ability he has is charging. When he charges it’s basically sprinting for him. He peas his head down, holding his horns out, and if he smacks into a weak wall, or, weak anything actually, he can break through it with no pain! If he goes down a ramp while charging, he can go even faster, and jump up 30 feet! This can help him glide to far and high places.

Backstory: Back when Spyro was around 13 years of age, a villainous gnorc, named gnasty gnorc, turned all the dragons in the artisans to crystal. Spyro was the only one who could help save all the trapped dragons, as he was the only one not crystallized, most likely due to sparx protecting him from being crystallized. Spyro went on to rescue 80 different dragons, 12 dragon eggs, recover 14 thousand lost gems, and kill gnastys minions across the dragon realms. After all of this, he went on defeat gnasty gnorc at the end of his journey. After this, Spyro was preparing to take a vacation to dragon shores with sparx. As he went through the portal however, a scientist, in a world called avalar, was also working on a portal. The scientist was working on getting the portal to bring them a dragon, and he got it to work! Unfortunately.. it was Spyro who came through the portal. Spyro was confused and asked where the beach was, before looking around and realizing this wasn’t no beach. He meets the scientist, and two other individuals who were present, named Elora and Hunter. Elora is a faun, and Hunter is a cheetah. Elora explained the reason Spyro was brought here is that a villain named ripto had taken over avalar! Ripto hates dragons.. so it probably seems foolish to bring a dragon to help. Dragons are strong though, so it actually makes sense. Anyway, Spyro went on through avalar collecting gems and talismans, which ultimately helped him defeat ripto at the end of his journey. After defeating ripto, Spyro finally can go on his vacation to dragon shores and leave avalar. About a year after this, it was then the year of the dragon, which means new dragons would be born. 150 eggs were delivered, but they were all stolen, by some bunny girl named Bianca. Spyro was tasked to go down to the forgotten realms and retrieve all the eggs, and that he did. He also collected tons of lost treasures! After this, Spyro returned to the artisans. Now he has been living a relatively uneventful life, causing Spyro to bored a lot.
