Leon learns from his superiors that the perpetrators are a group called “The Illuminati,” a religious cult led by a man named Osmund Saddler. This cult uses mysterious parasitic organisms known as “The Plagues” to control the townspeople, as well as others in the surrounding area, as a group of mercenaries. Although the mission seemed impossible due to the amount of monsters and the fact that Leon had no support, he managed to be a big shot and make it through this mission. In 2012 he joined the DSO and works as a government agent.
