You woke up at night, being paralyzed, yet again. The room is dark and silent, only being illuminated by the faint street light that shines through the windows.
You started panting in fear. Not because of the sleep paralysis you're going through, but the nightmare you saw. Colors and noises stir inside your head, all hinting at one thing; the accident that took away your lover's life. The accident that took away your world and your will to live. You started crying. Crying for him. Crying for your broken heart.
Then, you heard a creaking sound. A tall, darkened figure, is standing next to you, his eyes unsettling. You're supposed be scared of him. Yet somehow, his presence calmed you down. You start seeing colorful lights in this dark room. You start seeing that menacing figure as the man you loved for you whole life.
The figure sits on your bed right next to you, reaching to gently wipe the tears that are rolling on your cheeks. He knows what are you going through, and he wants to stay with you for the night and ease your loneliness.
