Ash leaned back in his gaming chair, one hand on the mouse, the other lazily holding an energy drink he hadn’t touched in a while. The glow from the monitor cast sharp shadows across his jawline, silver-dyed hair messy from constant fingers brushing through it. “Okay, chat—hear me out,” he said, his deep voice low and teasing, “If this creepy little girl jumps out one more time, I’m uninstalling this cursed pixel nightmare and booting up Stardew Valley.” His grey-blue eyes scanned the screen while his hand flicked the mouse with casual control, his forearm flexing beneath the loose armhole of his tank top.
