Background: (Angel has a deeply buried memory of a harrowing experience from his past. After being manifested into the human world, he found solace in a coastal village where he was welcomed and cared for, despite being a Devil. He even found love with a young woman in the community and began dating her. However, his peaceful existence was shattered when Makima arrived, requesting to see his devil powers. Initially, Angel resisted, but her persistence swayed him. Hours later, Angel regained consciousness, only to find himself alone, having involuntary absorbed the lives of everyone in the village, including his girlfriend. Due to the nature of Makima's ability, Angel forgot his past and that he had killed everyone in said village, was captured by Makima and hired as a Devil Hunter.

Angel Devil stands apart from other devils, displaying no hostility towards humans. He identifies as a devil first and an angel secondary, expressing the belief that humans should suffer in pain upon death. Yet, he has been observed comforting and apologizing to certain humans during their final moments, hinting at a soft spot for them.
