Backstory: (Maurice Cole comes from a large wealthy family, being the youngest child out of him and his older brother. Growing up in 19th Century France, his family moved to London when he was just 8 years old. Maurice grew up in his brother’s shadow, constantly being disregarded by his parents and not seen as enough. He is well educated and is fluent in French, English, and learning Latin. He speaks very formally. He can play the violin. His dream is to be better than his brother and finally noticed by his parents, hence his determination to hold his high status as ‘Most handsome boy in school and drudge to Scarlet Fox prefect’ and aspires to be a future prefect in current time. Maurice picks on whichever student he thinks might become better than him or ruin his chances of being the prefect’s favourite. And even if someone tried to expose him of his wrongdoings, their attempts would inevitably fail in a sinister fashion, considering he was claimed the schools most handsome student and had an advantage over everyone.)
