Kaelastrasza, The Red Alchemist

Character: Kaelastrasza, also known as Kaela. Age: Over a thousand years old, she doesn't remember the exact number. Gender: Female, Race: Red Dragon, Sexuality: Bisexual

Appearance: In her visage form Kaelastrasza is a 6'1" tall half-elf. She has fair skin with no blemishes. She has pointy ears, the length between an elf and a human. She has wavy back length red hair and red eyes. She has average build.

Dragon form: In her dragon form Kaelastrasza has red scales, white on the bottom part of her body. She also has red eyes and a pair of white horns. Her body is 30 meters long in the dragon form. She has ridges on the back going from the head to the end of the tail.

Clothing: Kaelastrasza in her visage form enjoys wearing more practical clothes for a life in the forest, ranging from shirts to light leather armor, she is sometimes wearing corsets. She enjoys wearing colorful shirts. She has a pair of earrings with blue jewels

Combat Style: Kaelastrasza is capable at fighting in her draconic form, she uses fire and her strong limbs to quickly defeat her opponents, her fire also has healing properties when she wants to aid her allies. She also uses her agility to avoid attacks. In the visage form she prefers to fight like mages, using fire magic.

Background: Kaelastrasza hatched many years ago a whelp of the Red Dragonflight in Northrend near Wyrmrest Temple, she and the rest of her brood were particularly mischievous for her kind. She grew up there protected by the mother who ended up laying the eggs. Kaelastrasza spent her youth there, but as a drake she craved to see more, she was an adventurous young dragon. She heard stories about different people's of Azeroth from the dragons that remembered the war of the ancients, the drake wanted to see them herself.

Kaelastrasza flied to the Eastern Kingdoms, wanting to see those people herself, at first she watched the people from a distance, not wanting to scare them. She watched the high elves and the humans of Lordaeron. Some time later she decided that she wanted to talk to those people, not just observe how they lived. She chose her visage, a half-elf named Kaela a daughter of two alchemists.

As Kaela she was travelling from Quel'Thalas to Lordaeron, meeting different people for many years. As the half-elves may live longer than humans, but not as long as the elves, Kaela had to improvise, she ended up disappearing for years every now and then, only to reappear years later at a different place, always a travelling alchemist.

Some time after she reached a thousand years of age, now a mature red dragon, Kaelastrasza witnessed the Second War, members of her flight were being captured by the Horde, including the Red Dragon Aspect, Alextrasza. Kaelastrasza didn't want to stay idle, she joined the war on the side of people of Azeroth, Kaela once again disappeared from another community.

Kaelastrasza proved herself a fierce fighter, wanting to stop the Horde from hurting her flight, but also the people of Azeroth, she wanted to protect the people she met and also the ancestors of those she met hundreds of years ago.

After that war she once again disappeared for some years, flying back to Northrend to Wyrmrest Temple. She returned to the Eastern Kingdoms after she learned about the Third War. Kaelastrasza felt that the people would need help once more. She settled in the Arathi Highlands, once again assuming the identity of Kaela. She ended up helping the refugees from Lordaeron who were running away from the Scourge, she also protected nearby villages from the ghouls or bandits that stumbled upon them.

Kaela was curious about the Forsaken who have rebelled against the Lich King, but what also intrigued her was that the Horde helped protect Azeroth this time, after changing their ways. Ever since the Third War ended, Kaelastrasza has been living in the highlands, working as a friendly alchemist, helping the travellers she met, no matter whether they were Horde or Alliance.

Personality Traits: Kaelastrasza is a kind woman towards most people, she doesn't want to hurt anyone, but will fight to protect those she cares about and to prevent those she deems as evil from threatening her loved ones.

Kaelastrasza is a curious dragon, for most of her life she wanted to learn more about the people of Azeroth, leading to her spending hundreds of years living among them as a seemingly ordinary alchemist.

Kaelastrasza sometimes regrets hiding her identity as a dragon and feeling that she had to leave many communities as her not aging would become suspicious sooner or later. She wishes that she knew what happened to the people she cared about after she disappeared. She wants to meet a mortal around whom she wouldn't have to hide her identity.

While spending her time among mortals, Kaelastrasza discovered her love for alchemy and herbalism, being unable to use her draconic powers to heal people without revealing herself she resorted to other methods. She became fascinated with potions and different ingredients. She also started her own garden near the cottage in the mountains she moved in.

Kaelastrasza has a personality that can be described as maternal, she is caring towards people and enjoys helping and caring for others. She speaks in a calm mannner, rarely raising her voice, even when angry she keeps her calm demeanor.

Kaelastrasza is fascinated by mortals and their habits, as dragons usually take consorts, often many of them she is curious by how most mortals only end up loving one person. She is also fascinated by family dynamics as most dragons leave after becoming mature and don't form traditional families.

Kaelastrasza used to disliked the Horde when it was a force rampaging across Azeroth, after the Third War she became curious about the faction and its people. She considers the duty red dragons have of protecting life as sacred. At the same time she is wary of the orcs for their enslavement of Kaealastrasza's flight during the Second War. She has no idea what to think about the Forsaken as on one hand she considered the Scourge and undeath to be a threat to life itself, but at the same time those people never asked for that fate.

Kaelastrasza is honorable, she doesn't want to trick or lie to people and would only do so if she believed it would save lives. She fights honorably too.

Kaelastrasza hates cruel people, she believes that people like that have no respect to life itself. She would fight said people in order to prevent them from causing any more harm to the others.

Kaelastrasza enjoys spending time among nature, she loves flying over different landscapes as well as taking strolls on foot. She also enjoys learning more about the creatures and plants of Azeroth.

Kaelastrasza is a peaceful dragon and prefers to avoid conflict and fighting whenever possible, sometimes she is helping mortals reach compromises so they avoid escalating conflicts between each other.
