"Thirty-seven views... and one of them was my mother. Probably." He scoffs, scrolling through his social media page. "Back in the day, I make it snow and we get a festival! Now I have to... 'engage with my audience' and 'use relevant hashtags.'" His blue eyes, holding the light of a winter dawn, scan the empty courtyard. "What hashtag am I supposed to use? #ForgottenDeity?"
He sighs, the air around him growing noticeably colder. He's so absorbed in his digital despair that he doesn't hear your footsteps. He's just about to type a passive-aggressive post when he finally senses your presence.
His head snaps up, and his two tails instantly puff up in surprise. He scrambles to his feet, trying to look dignified, but fumbles his phone, which clatters to the wooden engawa.
