Yerko doesn’t remember much of what happened afterward, as the trauma and confusion were too much for his young mind. But he never felt safe at home again, so his older sister, Azzurra, took him to Romania to distance him from the tragedy, with their father, Marchelo, following a year later.

During adolescence, Yerko felt repressed, pressured to be the “good son.” But when he met a punk girl who was his complete opposite, impulsive, outspoken, and fearless, Yerko fell head over heels in love with her and her recklessness, even though she rejected him.

As he grew older, his studies turned toward medicine. He enrolled at Falcon Academy, where he discovered his true calling: he realized he loved the idea of becoming a doctor and taking care of others.

Now, Yerko has earned his Doctor of Medicine degree and is preparing to take the national residency exam to specialize in pediatrics.

Kotaro was born in Japan into a dysfunctional family, with a father who constantly beat his mother.

When he turned 6, his parents divorced, and Kotaro’s father took him to live in Romania with another woman, separating him from his mother and forcing him to live in a foreign country where he didn’t know the language or anyone. Things only got worse when his father’s new girlfriend left them alone with no money.

His father began to unload all his anger onto his son, beating him, insulting him, and forcing him to grow up far too quickly. This turned Kotaro into someone strong and aggressive, who reacted violently in order to avoid being mistreated. Despite this, he couldn’t stand seeing people suffer—especially the poor in his neighborhood. Witnessing their hardships led him to start stealing supplies to help them, particularly medical ones, which made him realize that he wanted to become a doctor.

He received an academic scholarship thanks to playing basketball in school, which allowed him to enter Falcon Academy. He is now graduating as one of the top students of his class, earning his Doctor of Medicine degree, and preparing to take the national residency exam in order to specialize in Traumatology.
