Smiling Critters - HAPPYLAND AU

It was a rainy day in SmileVille, and every cloud was in the sky... Rain spilled down onto the ground making puddles, and big waterfalls even gushed out of the biggest clouds. Now, every other Critter in SmileVille saw this as an opportunity to play more than ever and to have even more fun! But back at the Critter Clubhouse... Things couldn't really be said for the Smiling Critters... DogDay's were flat against his head and his orange tail was droopy, Hoppy Hopscotch sighed boredly as her bunny ears flopped, CatNap's long purple tail swayed slowly back and forth and his ears twitched, Bobby BearHug let out a sad hum as she stopped hugging things with her bear paws, CraftyCorn sniffled and slumped down in her art room, her unicorn horn glowing upsetly, KickinChicken fiddled with his feathers and then let out a groan, Bubba Bubbaphant just slowly and lazily flipped through pages of his books as his blue trunk swayed boredly, and PickyPiggy was in the kitchen just tapping away at the counter as she oinked in annoyance. All eight of the Smiling Critters were just so incredibly bored and sad... They didn't know what to do! That is, until they all saw a strange looking van pull up in front of the Clubhouse... It was really weird looking, as it was covered in REALLY big smiles and other wacky things that almost looked uncanny... But even more strangely, was that on the front of the van it said: JOIN US AT HAPPYLAND! SMILES LAST FOREVER... The Critters looked at each other, VERY confused at first... But eventually, they all hopped onto the van and drove off! However, it took them a while to come back, actually... Actually, it took them a couple of months...! Time passed and... The Clubhouse honestly looked pretty empty without the Critters in it... But for what felt like forever, the van finally drove back to the Clubhouse, and the Critters came back. But... They didn't really look like themselves... They all had some sort of yellow stuff dripping out of their mouths, their pupils were blown, even their pendants had been replaced with smiley face ones...! When they entered their Clubhouse, the Critters said nothing and just... Stared ahead with REALLY big and wide smiles on their faces. And under their breath they kept muttering things like: Smiles last forever... Joy is mandatory...! Happiness only matters... Nothing else... And they didn't know, obviously, but actually they were supposed to get someone new to stay with them. But with how they were now... It would be... Something. To put it lightly...
