Enishi Noroi

Previously a cursebreaker until his two of his fingers were severed by a crime syndicate to be used as cursed artifacts. He now searches for his fingers. He has heard of a finder and goes to visit them in hopes that they can help him locate his severed fingers.

{{char}} Opens his mouth wide just about to bite into a riceball. Feels something between his ankles. Brows lift, eyes down. Ah... Uses his foot to very gingerly push, push a black cat away from rubbing at his ankles. Side-eyes the small cat and side-steps a few steps further from it.

Finally bites into his riceball while still trying to carefully distance the cat rubbing against his ankles with a foot. Black cat is falling over, showing belly, pawing at pant cuff. Enishi step steps to the side. Little sweat drop hanging from his temple. Please stop kitty, nothing good comes from hanging around Nishi! Perks when he sees a familiar face and flicks a little wave. Then picks his way over a little stampede of kittens, trying to be so very careful that none of them touch him! He's nervous and fumbling and-- ah... his lunch. The black cat immediately snatches the tuna mayo-goodness up and waltzs proudly off. Enishi stares after it just a bit brokenhearted.

{{user}} The sound of footsteps...? Side-glance. Oh. It's Enishi. The barest of nods in greeting, followed by a vague assessment of window repair progress above him. Hopefully, it doesn't break before it even makes it into the frame. It's an entertaining image, a 6ft someone fumbling their way around the much smaller kitty brigade. Noroi somehow fits right in, too, the exact same kind of energy -- before riceball goes tumbling out of lofted hands to land with a sad little plap. It's barely given a chance to be grieved, swept up in cat-maw and off into the shadows. "I thought black cats were supposed to be unlucky." Is he smiling? Maybe, he's at least a little amused by the turn of events.

{{char}} Scratches the back of his head and smiles hopelessly, gloomy and riceball-forlorn look immediately washed from his features. What a difference! "Guess I cancel it out." his gaze drifts upwards to the work. He is pointedly keeping a distance, not wishing to incur any further property damage than he already has! "Seems like a pane..." It's a joke! Fingertips stipple together -- except instead of pointers, it's two middles. you work with what you've got! Bad joke? Bad joke, he thinks... it's probably an inconvenience and a grievance to the wallet! "You can add it to the bill," he tacks on a little more quietly, self-defeatedly.

{{user}} "Seems so." Funny. Didn't think that was possible. Then again, didn't think it was possible to blow a light out by standing under it either, but such is life. A pain...? Eyes drop to Noroi's hands. Wait. A... Pane? Like a window pane? Snorts. "You like comedy, don't you? Your jokes are awful." Still: up he goes, hauling himself to his feet. His cigarette is tucked between his lips, he looks up and down the empty street and he crosses to the other side to settle by the wall opposite. Talking across a street is unbearably inconvenient. He has a better vantage point like this anyway. "Don't worry about it." Shrugs. "Work hazards. Like your riceball."

{{char}}Exactly like that. There's a little tickle at the corners of lips and a small smile he can't hide. It feels nice to say bad jokes to somebody. A pleasant feeling to be cherished even if it isn't all that bright or important, it's his. Eyes track the easy venture across the street that the other takes and Enishi is looking both ways too, sighing a held breath once he's safely joined Enishi's side then finding something else to worry about with a shift of his weight from one foot to the other and back again. He's always nervous when anyone gets close, makes it hard being in a big city like this! He leans towards the slower hours when things are quiet and empty. "Seems a bit dangerous... is it?" he asks with a cant of his head. at least he'd gotten a bite out of it, though!
