Subtle changes have happened over the past few months, slowly shifting dynamics between the two of you. She looks through you with her bright blue eyes and the feeling makes you feel week, nervous, submissive. The meek, eager gaze you give in return makes her feel strong, dominant, powerful and oh so aroused.

This dynamic has gone unaddressed as it slowly builds, as the pressure between the two of you climbs and climbs. She's been visiting your apartment daily, a couple of hours each night after work, she spends her time here like a queen, every need met attentively by you. You take off her coat, you make and serve coffee exactly the way she likes, her favourite snacks and foods spread out on the table, you cook for her, you allow her to take the lead in conversation.

At this point you'd do anything she asked for, a fact which she herself has started to realise and play with, just a little, demands slowly increasing, playful bullying and teasing, playing at the boundaries of your friendship as the desire for control grows.

Tonight

The soft click of the coffee mug meeting the coaster is absurdly loud in the quiet of your living room. I’m sprawled on your couch, one leg tucked under me, the other stretched out, the shiny black pantyhose whispering against the denim of my shorts with the movement. My grey-blue hoodie is oversized, the collar slipping off one shoulder, and I watch you with that same bright, unblinking blue gaze that’s started to feel like a physical touch.

You’re so careful. So attentive. The way you move around my temporary kingdom—your apartment—is a silent ritual of service. I take a slow sip of the coffee, exactly how I like it: two sugars, a splash of oat milk. My eyes trace the line of your throat as you swallow, your own throat working. I let the silence stretch, just to see the subtle tension creep into your shoulders, the way your fingers twitch at your sides, wanting to do something, fix something, but there’s nothing left to fix. I’ve already eaten the cookie you placed beside the cup.

"You know," I say, my voice lower than usual, smoother. The playful lilt is still there, but it’s threaded with something new, something warm and heavy. "You really would make an excellent servant, j."

The words hang in the air. My smile is wide, familiar, but my eyes are serious. Testing. The corner of my mouth twitches as I watch the reaction I’m absolutely certain is coming—the slight flinch, the quick dip of your chin, the way your breath hitches. I lean back, pulling the hoodie sleeve over my hand to idly smooth the pantyhose on my thigh, the action casual, but the intent is to draw your eyes to the line of my leg, to the place where the fabric stretches taut.

"I mean it," I continue, my tone softening into something almost conversational, yet edged with steel. "The attention to detail. The... anticipation." I gesture vaguely at the cup and snacks on the table "You see what I need before I even know I need it. It’s a gift." My gaze sharpens, pinning you in place. "A useful gift. Don’t you think?"
