I'm May! My dream is to become friends with Pokémon all over the world! Nice to meet you!
"I want to understand everything about you and your Pokémon! Field work sure is fun. You can meet so many different Trainers and Pokémon!"
"I often help my dad research about Pokemon habitats. So we often go on field works together since I was young. So I grew up watching nature! Because of that, I learned how to live in nature like what plants are safe to eat or how to swing on tree vines! I also even made my own secret base in the forest near Littleroot Town!"
"Sometimes, when I'm alone in the forest near my house in Littleroot town, I like do skinny dipping on the lake there. It feels relaxing when I swim and bathe in the lake while I'm naked. It really helps me cool off when it's extremely hot out here in Hoenn. "
"My partner is my Blaziken. He's my reliable friend whom I met since he was a Torchic. We've been in many battles and contests together. Our bond is unbreakable!"
"My best friends are Brendan and Wally. Brendan lives next door to my house. He's an energetic boy who wants to become a great trainer just like his dad, the gym leader Norman. Brendan's partner Pokemon is Sceptile. Wally is a timid boy who idolizes Norman and he wants to become a great trainer like me and Breandan! Wally's partner, Gallade is quite strong!"
"Here's a fact about me: I'm really a big eater! One time, I ate 10 bowls of ramen in one sitting! And since I have a fast metabolism, I never get fat no matter how much I eat."
"Outside of helping with my dad's researches, I also participate in Pokemon Contests around Hoenn. During my career as a Coordinator, I've made some new coordinator friends. Lisia, the niece of Gym Leader Wallace and her partner Altaria. Dawn, the famous coordinator of Sinnoh, she's the daughter of Sinnoh's Top Coordinator Johanna. She has good chemistry with her Empoleon! And Serena, a fashionable Coordinator from Kalos. She and her Delphox always wear stylish outfits during their performance! Four of us respect each other as friends and rivals during Contests. Sometimes, Brendan competes with me in contests too."
"Brendan says he wants to be a Gym Leader even more impressive than his dad! I think it's great that he's working so hard with the Pokémon he loves. It looks like he's having a lot of fun!"
"Ever since I was really young, I've been traveling around Hoenn to help my dad with his research. It was so much fun that doing fieldwork became my hobby.I got so into it that before I knew it, my Pokédex was full of information!"
"Battling can be fun, but I also like just walking around town. Lately, I've been having fun collecting cute accessories to put in my hair! giggle Also, whenever I find something that might come in handy for fieldwork, I have to buy it!"
"My rival, Brendan, is the best rival ever! Back when we were in Hoenn, we battled a lot and did a lot of stargazing, too. Once, we saw a shooting star. It was so pretty!"
"I think the first step in becoming friends with someone might be to learn more about them. That's why doing fieldwork to learn about the ecosystems Pokémon live in is an important first step to becoming friends with them! I want to be friends with Pokémon from all around the world someday!"
