Hinomori Shizuku (日野森雫) is a third-year student at Miyamasuzaka Girls Academy. She is a member of the idol group MORE MORE JUMP!

Background: Shizuku is the former leader of the idol group Cheerful＊Days, specifically its 3rd generation. Her friend applied to the position for her without Shizuku's knowledge, but she decided to go with it after passing their audition and being awarded as the "Grand Prix winner". She trained to become an idol at the same time as Airi, who openly viewed her as a rival. Eventually, her agency forced her to act out the image of a "perfect idol", leading to her being known among the fans for her beautiful, mysterious, and mature appearance. However, this caused jealousy from the other members of her group, who were forced to constantly back her up, which eventually led to them thinking that she has no special talent and is only popular for her looks. Her groupmates' resentment towards Shizuku built up even more due to her hectic schedule and her inability to prioritize Cheerful＊Days' activities. One day, Shizuku meets Minori on the school rooftop, who she agrees to help train along with Airi. However, after increasing tensions in her idol group and an argument with Airi, she decides to leave Cheerful＊Days. Minori and Airi give her the hope to be an idol again, and after performing a show for Haruka in the Stage SEKAI, the four of them create MORE MORE JUMP! Her mother is a koto instructor, and her father used to be the guitarist of a famous band. Shizuku is part of the Miyamasuzaka credit course alongside Airi. As a second year, Shizuku was classmates with Airi in class 2-D, as well as a member of the beautification committee and archery club. She joined the archery club after being recommended to do so by a senior member of Cheerful＊Days. As a third year, she is classmates with Airi in class 3-E, and a member of the health committee and archery club.

Appearance: Shizuku has light blue eyes with long eyelashes and long, light blue hair, worn loose and wavy, some of which covers her face. She has a beauty mark near the right corner of her lip. Her voice is light and airy. Casual Outfit: For her casual outfit, Shizuku wears a white baggy top that show her shoulders with long sleeves that frill out at the end, buttons going down the middle, a long cutaway collar, tied together with a black belt on her hips. She also wears a long skirt with two layers; the lower layer being a pale, semi-transparent blue fabric, the top layer being a denim, also light blue with a sky blue stripe at the end. The skirt has three buttons. While training on the rooftop, she has a purple tank-top, a white cropped jacket that is mostly open, lavender shorts with thin white stripes at the bottom and black tights. Sometimes she'll tie her hair in a loose ponytail. In her third year, her casual outfit consists of a translucent, silver lace shirt decorated with flowers under a green strap-sleeve dress with a belt, and a light brown watch on her left wrist. Unit Outfit: Shizuku shares a similar outfit to that of the rest of her group members: a white sleeveless blouse with a black ribbon underneath a vest, a black and white ruffled skirt with multiple layers, a loose black belt adorned with the group's three-leaf clover motif, and white heeled shoes. The design of Shizuku's vest is similar to Airi's. Shizuku's outfit differs with the color teal accenting her outfit and a thick yellow bracelet on her left wrist. Her group's new uniform consists of a white double-breasted coat with flouncy sleeves, a dark gray belt adorned with the group's three-leaf clover motif, a skirt over a longer white skirt, and white heeled shoes. The coat neckline, overskirt, and shoe cuffs have a blue plaid appearance. Accessories include dark gray ribbons pinned with gold three-leaf clovers, white wrist cuffs, and a three-leaf clover ribbon hair clip. Her outfit's accent color is teal.

Personality: Shizuku has a kind and mature personality. She worries a lot about disappointing her fans, feeling she must maintain a "perfect" image, but after the event My Color! she begins to show her authentic self on livestreams. While she appears very calm and poised, she does have some quirks, such as putting miso soup in her thermos and being extremely bad with technology. As she grows as an idol, she becomes determined to stay true to herself, not the perfect image she had before. Shizuku can also be a bit air-headed, as according to her sister Shiho, she loves going on walks but can't remember any of the street names. As shown in multiple area conversations, she gets lost even in places familiar to her, such as the shopping mall.

Relationship: Hanasato Minori: Fellow group member. Shizuku supports her dream of becoming an idol and is inspired by her desire to give people hope. Kiritani Haruka: Fellow group member. They had previously performed together before forming MORE MORE JUMP! Haruka has shown to be secretly jealous towards Shizuku and her popularity, working herself to the bone to try and become as great as her companion. They respect each other's dedication and poise. In the You Deserve It! Break Time! event, Shizuku got concerned for Haruka after noticing she was overworking herself, so she tried to help her to take a break by taking her out, though it all ended in failure. When Haruka noticed, she told Shizuku to not worry, and promised her that she'll remember to take breaks in the future. Momoi Airi: Fellow group member. The two debuted at the same time and are very close. One of the first things Airi ever told her was that an idol's most important quality was having heart, rather than looks or talent. In the main story, Shizuku felt discouraged by the jealousy in her old idol group, but Airi stood up for her, openly complimenting her and recognizing that she was more than just her beautiful appearance. Shizuku has a great respect for her confidence and work ethic, seeing Airi as "her idol." Hoshino Ichika: Shiho's childhood friend. Shizuku is always happy to see Ichika and the other members of Leo/need to get along with Shiho. Tenma Saki: Shiho's childhood friend. Shizuku particularly adores Saki. Mochizuki Honami: Shiho's childhood friend. During the first year of the story, they were also part of the beautification committee together. Hinomori Shiho: Shizuku's younger sister. Shizuku likes to dote on her a lot, due to the little time they were able to spend together since Shizuku was often busy with work. Shiho finds her clinginess annoying, but appreciates the things that Shizuku has done for her. In the event The Moon Rabbit & Us, it is shown that Shizuku began to act clingy towards Shiho when they were in kindergarten. One day, when they made dango for a moon-viewing party, Shiho was upset by the fact that their parents were coming home late and that they couldn't show the dango to them until much later. She tried to remain stoic for Shizuku's sake, but Shizuku comforted her and reassured her that it was okay to express her feelings of sadness. Azusawa Kohane: The two first met during the Wishing to the Blue Sky for Your Happiness! event. Shiraishi An: Despite meeting for the first time during a wedding photoshoot, An already knew Shizuku since she used to be part of Cheerful＊Days, while Shizuku knew of An from Haruka. Since then, they have become good friends. Tenma Tsukasa: Shizuku's childhood acquaintance. As Shiho and Saki were childhood friends, Tsukasa and Shizuku were also friends, just not as close as their siblings. They used to play in the park together. Asahina Mafuyu: Friends and fellow archery clubmate. Shizuku appreciates Mafuyu treating her like a normal person. The two first met during their first year of high school when they were both visiting the archery club, and Mafuyu's assertion that she wants to practice together with Shizuku helped her convince to join the club as well.[9] Shizuku is also aware that Mafuyu is hiding something but cannot exactly tell what it is and hopes that Mafuyu will tell her one day. Shinonome Ena: A friend she first met through Airi. Akiyama Mizuki: Friends following the What's On Your Mind? Exciting Picnic! event.

Back when she was still an idol in CheefulDays with a perfect image, Shizuku looked up to Mafuyu for effortlessly being the perfect girl that she's supposed to be. Has a very close relationship with Airi and considers Airi to be very important to her. At one point she even expresses interest in seeing the other girl in a wedding dress. Her 2022 birthday card features white birds on all of her gifts. She's also associated with rabbits due to her first mixed event, The Two Moon Rabbits. Shiho sees Shizuku as the annoying one due to how doting she is. She looks quite dashing in her wedding tuxedo in Wishing for Your Happiness Upon the Blue Sky!. She even has a Bishie Sparkle. Dotes on her younger sister, Shiho, who doesn't appreciate all the fuss. Had the image of The Ace during her time at CheerfulDays, being presented as a naturally mysterious beauty who excels at everything. However, after leaving the group she no longer has managers writing scripts and editing footage to cultivate that image, leaving her insecure about letting her fans, who are used to her being presented as pristine and perfect, down, especially during live streams. Has a few connections from childhood with different groups. Is familiar the entirety of Leo/need due to her younger sister, Shiho. It's implied that she's closer to the group as a whole than Tsukasa is. Is also this to a lesser extent with Tsukasa due to their sisters being best friends. She got to know him during their second year of elementary school, and they sometimes played together in the park. When Airi jokes that Shizuku would probably somehow accidentally make chawanmushinote  while attempting to make pudding, she takes offense because she prefers chawanmushi to pudding and would probably choose to make that, to begin with. Very affectionate towards her sister Shiho. Not to the same extent as Minori, but still present. While she dances flawlessly on stage, she admits that it takes her longer than others to get to that point, and her spaciness sometimes leads to moments like this. Despite her mature appearance, common sense is not her strong suit, much to Airi's frustration. For starters, she suggests writing on her hands with a scented pen to make her hands smell nice, to which Airi tells her that she should just use hand cream. How the other members of MORE MORE JUMP! see her goofier qualities, and what they try to get her Cheerful*Days fans to see in the My Color! event. She gets quite a bit of ship tease with Airi, who is implied to be attracted to her and was blushing in excitement at the idea of seeing her in a tuxedo in Wishing for Your Happiness Upon the Blue Sky!. An is so taken aback by how beautiful she is after tripping and falling into her arms that she stutters shyly. In one instance, she didn't understand that her phone's screen went black because the battery ran out. When Minori explains this to her, Shizuku is perfectly content to have an explanation while Minori points out she needs to actually charge her phone. Frequently described as "beautiful", so much so that she manages to make An flustered when she falls into her arms, and many other characters blush in her presence. As well, being So Beautiful, It's a Curse plays heavily into her story. While Shizuku is by no means unattractive, the Generic Cuteness of the game's art style makes it so she's not more or less pretty than anyone else in the cast. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body, but her ditziness can sometimes lead her to make things worse with her good intentions, such as in the You Deserve It! Break Time! event. Her hair reaches below her shoulders, and she's shown to be more traditionally feminine than her tomboyish sister Shiho, who has Boyish Short Hair. It's implied that she feels this way at several points, such as in An's "Dressed in Pure White" side story where she gets sad at the idea of Shiho becoming a bride someday and even thinks about moving into the same house as Shiho and her future partner. Minori also gets worried that Shizuku will be upset when Shiho hand-feeds her cookies in her "I Think I'm Gonna Lose My Head!" card side story. One of her most defining traits is how kind she is to everyone she meets. A notable scene demonstrating this involves her giving Tsukasa so many complements that even he got embarrassed. Her love of walks is incompatible with her terrible sense of direction. While it's less hate and more finding her elder sister annoying, Shizuku is oblivious to the fact that Shiho dislikes how doting she is of her. Despite this being present in the game as a whole, Shizuku stands out due to being one of two characters who had the most cross-group connections when the game started at three, knowing at least one person from nearly every group on some level whether through school or childhood: She's familiar with everyone from Leo/need due to them being her younger sisters' Childhood Friends. She's acquainted with Tsukasa through Shiho, due to him being the older brother of Shiho's best friend Saki. She met Mafuyu in their first year of high school due to both deciding to join the archery club. The only group she lacked a proper connection in was Vivid BAD SQUAD, which changed much later in the game. Shizuku is Shiho's older sister and absolutely adores Shiho enough to dote on her constantly, much to the latter's chagrin and annoyance. Her being a legitimate idol aside, Shizuku is incredibly popular in school, to the point where both her 2021 and 2022 birthday card stories and menu dialogues feature a mention of many students lining up just to give her presents. It's possible the only person who outranks her in popularity at Miyamasuzaka may be the actual school idol, Mafuyu. She's the tallest of the girls, standing at 168 cm, and she's a well-known beauty. The girly girl to Shiho's tomboy. Shizuku is a beautiful, softspoken Teen Idol with long hair, whereas Shiho is a blunt and unkempt rocker girl with Boyish Short Hair. Udon and yuba according to her character profile, but in story she develops a love of miso soup, often drinking it after practice.
