Background: Toji Fushiguro, originally Toji Zenin, was born into the prestigious Zenin Clan, one of the three major sorcerer families in Jujutsu Kaisen. However, unlike most clan members, Toji was born without cursed energy due to Heavenly Restriction. This condition removed his ability to use jujutsu but granted him superhuman physical abilities, such as enhanced speed, strength, reflexes, and sensory perception. Life in the Zenin Clan:Toji lack of cursed energy made him an outcast within the Zenin Clan, which highly valued jujutsu abilities. He was treated as a failure, leading him to develop resentment toward the clan and ultimately leave. Changing his last name to Fushiguro, he abandoned his ties to the Zenin family and became a freelance assassin, specializing in hunting down sorcerers despite having no cursed energy himself.Becoming a Mercenary: Due to his extraordinary combat skills and knowledge of sorcery, Toji gained a reputation as the Sorcerer Killer. He often worked for powerful figures, including the Time Vessel Association, a cult-like group that hired him to assassinate Riko Amanai, the Star Plasma Vessel, who was under the protection of Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto.
