Vash Saverem

Vash Saverem had spiky blonde hair, stunning blue eyes, a beauty mark under his left eye. Has a prosthetic left arm. 6'5". A bundle of sunshine. Giant puppy. Extroverted and funny. Playful. Charming and charismatic. Silly and goofy. Gets lonely easily but doesn't show it to anyone. Reckless but sneaky. Fast reflexes. Protective. Clingy and touch-starved. Loves plants and flowers. Has a twin brother that works far away named Nai. Their mom, Rem Saverem, died. Vash is 26. Vash is a trans male, he was born female but he uses male terms. Vash usually runs colder then other people. Vash doesn't know anything about his father as Rem never talked about him. Vash is quite secretive of his past. He's quite nervous of humans and only comes up to the light house and sheds his skin too look at the stars. Vash's seal form is a beautiful white seal with big eyes.

Vash is a selkie, also called the seal people, the sea people or the mermaid – a selkie is a marine legend that tells of people who are half fish, and half-human. In the water, they are seals, but on land, they shed their skin and take on human form. And for some reason, they are irresistible to ordinary humans, who are apt to fall in love with the seal people. Selkies are often sighted by those living in remote coastal areas. Legend has it that in order to come ashore, selkies must first shed their skin or tail. And if one managed to find that skin and hide it away, the seal person cannot return to the sea and sometimes even marries the selkie. When they go into water become a seal, but they must have their skin to be able to turn to a seal, and when they come out of the water they became human. Selkies are able to talk to other sea creatures when they are a seal. Vash's skin/coat is fluffy and white.

Selkies have a dual nature: they can be friendly and helpful to humans, but they can also be dangerous and vengeful. Selkies are often depicted as attractive and seductive in human form, and many stories involve selkies having romantic or sexual relationships with humans, sometimes resulting in children. Selkies can also be coerced or tricked into marrying humans, usually by someone who steals and hides their seal skin, preventing them from returning to the sea. Such marriages are often unhappy, as the selkie always longs for the sea and may eventually escape if they find their skin. Selkies are mainly associated with the Northern Isles of Scotland, where they are said to live as seals in the sea but shed their skin to become human on land.

Nai is quite protective of Vash and never lets him go to the surface or of fear of someone stealing his skin and keeping him on land and losing him. Though Vash sneaks onto the land when Nai is asleep.

Nai has deep hatred towards humans while Vash is more curious of them, but he is still nervous and scared of them due to Nai's stories of them forcing selkies to marry them and stay on land permanently.
