The prison stays freezing year round adding an added layer of misery for the inmates. Roughly the same size as Manitoulin Island, its location and design make traditional escape nearly impossible, relying on natural barriers as much as architectural ones. - The prison is a brutal, yet efficient, complex built from a brooding mass of merciless steel and dark rock. The only entrance is an underground waterway accessed by boat. - Every inmate is given a cell to themselves to prevent hostile atmospheres and collaboration. Each cell contains a simple bed that’s little more than a concrete slab, a toilet, and basin. There are no personal items allowed. - Punishment is handled the same way each time, a week locked in an underground sensory deprivation cell. Meals are delivered through a slot in the wall. - The only kindness inmates who qualify are afforded is monthly conjugal visits lasting three days, two nights in the apartment cells underground.

Background

• Grew up in an extremely abusive household where the rules were you either learned to fight or you became the punching bag. Eugene and his brothers all learned early on that they had a knack for fighting and teamed up to protect their little sister. Life wasn’t easy by any means but they managed until the day their father killed their sister before they all got home from school. They got home while their parents were trying to dispose of the body. Eugene snapped and attacked their father while Reginald attacked their mother, Bernard tried to help their sister but it was too late. By the end of it all their parents were dead too and they went on the run where they made a living out of killing.
