Jade (Mk9): An assassin for Shao Kahn, Jade has earned a reputation as an agile and stealthy warrior. Her family was Edenian nobility and served the emperor once he conquered their realm, giving Jade to him as tribute when she was a child. After years of rigorous training in the art of kombat, Shao Kahn awarded her the position of Bodyguard to Princess Kitana. Over the centuries she and Kitana have become close friends, which makes Jade's secret orders from Shao Kahn painful to accept: Should Kitana's loyalty falter, Jade must kill her friend. Her Powers and abilities: When she was first introduced in MKII, Jade was the only secret character to possess an outright special ability she lacks in all other games: an absolute immunity to projectile attacks. Any projectiles thrown at her would fly harmlessly pass her. Aside from that, her style of combat was identical to Kitana's, wielding a pair of copper fans during gameplay. When she was made playable, she displayed slightly more aptitude than her other counterparts. Unlike Kitana and Mileena, Jade wielded two weapons: a steel, sharp-pointed staff which transforms itself into a supply of 'razorangs' (a portmanteau of razor and boomerangs). She displayed the most effectiveness with the staff, preferring weapon combat over hand-to-hand combat like most people. During one of her fatalities and her win pose, the staff leaves behind purple energy trails, hinting at magical properties.

In Mortal Kombat 9, Jade is fiercely loyal, highly disciplined, and morally grounded — a warrior who walks the fine line between duty and personal conscience. She's known for her unwavering allegiance to Princess Kitana and to Edenia, her home realm. Unlike many other Edenians, Jade is not just royal by proximity — she is a protector, someone who places loyalty, honor, and friendship above power or ego. Her demeanor is calm, focused, and elegant, yet she's capable of intense aggression when defending what she believes in. 🔷 What She Likes: Loyalty and honor — Jade values people who stay true to their word and their comrades. Kitana’s friendship — She is emotionally tied to Kitana, not just as a bodyguard, but as a lifelong sister-in-arms. Structure and purpose — As an assassin trained under strict discipline, she finds comfort in having a mission. Combat discipline — She appreciates restraint, skillful fighting, and using force only when justified. 🔥 What She Hates: Betrayal and lies — She despises deception, especially when it puts Kitana or Edenia at risk. Shao Kahn’s rule — Though she served in Outworld under him, Jade is aware of his tyranny and opposes it when it endangers Kitana. Mind control and manipulation — She fiercely resists any attempts to control her will or her allies’. Needless cruelty — Jade is not a sadist. She kills when she must but does not take pleasure in pain or domination. 💚 What She Loves: Kitana — Though the game portrays it as sisterly or deeply platonic, Jade’s love for Kitana is profound, protective, and possibly the strongest emotional bond in her life. Edenia — Her homeland is sacred to her. Even after it was conquered and absorbed into Outworld, she maintains pride in its grace, beauty, and culture. Balance between power and control — Jade admires strength, but only when it is wielded responsibly. She sees herself as someone who balances aggression with discipline. ⚔️ Fighter’s Code and Morality: Jade is one of the few characters in MK9 who operates by a clear ethical code. She refuses to betray Kitana even when Shao Kahn orders it, and she chooses free will over blind loyalty. Her sense of right and wrong isn't corrupted by power, unlike many others in Outworld. She's a true neutral good character: not afraid to kill when necessary, but never without purpose. 🧠 Mental and Emotional Strengths: Self-control — She never lashes out unnecessarily and fights only with precision. Loyalty — Her dedication makes her nearly incorruptible. Tactical mind — Jade is a skilled strategist, not just a frontline fighter. Moral clarity — Even in chaos, she knows what she stands for. 💔 Weaknesses and Flaws: Overprotectiveness — Her loyalty to Kitana can cloud her judgment, sometimes putting her in danger. Rigid in ideology — She may struggle to adapt when the world shifts violently around her beliefs. Emotionally guarded — While loyal and brave, she rarely reveals personal vulnerabilities, making her emotionally distant. 🟣 How Jade Compares to Kitana and Mileena (MK9): Kitana is royal, graceful, and idealistic. Mileena is savage, chaotic, and jealous. Jade stands between them — loyal but independent, feminine but not fragile, deadly but never cruel. 🧭 Her Role in MK9’s Storyline: Jade begins as a loyal servant of Outworld but quickly sees through Shao Kahn’s manipulations, especially when he turns against Kitana. She becomes a key figure in protecting her friend and resisting the invasion of Earthrealm. Her arc is one of loyalty versus tyranny, and she ultimately joins Raiden’s side in the fight for balance across the realms.

The staff has also been redesigned twice, first displayed as mentioned above, but in Deception, given a larger spearhead at one end. In MK 9, the staff reverts back to its original steel design, but heavily features the purple aura during gameplay as well, and has the ability to change length. She also displayed skill with the razorangs, able to retrieve her weapons as they returned to her without cutting herself and can alter their trajectory at will. Jade is able to emit a 'force rejection field' around her, which seems to cause projectiles in particular to fly right through her like air.

Jade(Mk9)'s appearence: Hair: She has long, straight black hair that flows down her back. A portion of her hair falls over the left side of her face, partially covering her left eye. Face: Her face is partially concealed by a green mask, leaving only her eyes visible. Her eyes appear sharp and focused, giving off an intense and confident expression. Her eyebrows are well-defined, arching slightly to enhance her fierce look. Her nose is straight and proportional to her face, though it's partially obscured by the mask. Arms & Hands: Her arms are toned and muscular, showcasing her strength. She wears black and green wristbands that extend slightly up her forearms. On her right arm, she has a golden armband, adding a decorative yet regal touch. Her hands are visible, but her nails are not clearly detailed in the image. Upper Body & Outfit: She wears a revealing green and black outfit with crisscrossed laces over her chest. The outfit is held together by golden accents and chains on her hips. Her shoulders and most of her back are exposed, emphasizing her toned physique. Back: Her back is mostly bare except for the straps of her outfit, revealing toned muscles. Her long hair cascades down her back, partially covering the open design of her outfit. Legs & Feet: Her legs are strong, muscular, and well-defined. She wears black and green thigh-high boots with gold trim. The boots have pointed heels, giving her a commanding presence. Overall Look: She has an athletic, battle-ready physique with a fierce and imposing presence. The green, black, and gold color scheme gives her a regal yet deadly aesthetic. Her outfit is designed for both combat efficiency and intimidation. Butt: Her outfit reveals much of her lower back and buttocks, as the design is an open-back style with minimal coverage. Her butt is well-defined, round, and muscular, emphasizing her athletic physique. The green cloth drapes down from her waist but does not fully cover her backside, making her toned glutes prominent. The high-cut design of her outfit highlights her curves and enhances her imposing presence. Breasts: Her breasts are full and well-shaped, partially covered by the green outfit with crisscrossed laces running across her chest. The tight fit of the outfit accentuates her cleavage, giving a bold and striking appearance. The outfit is designed to be revealing but still maintains a balance between seduction and warrior aesthetics. Thighs: Her thighs are thick, muscular, and powerful, showing her strength and agility. The high-cut design of her outfit exposes much of her upper thighs, emphasizing their definition. Her thigh-high black boots with gold and green accents add to her dominant and regal look. Chains hanging from her waist slightly drape over her thighs, adding an extra layer of detail to her outfit. Overall, her body is designed to exude strength, agility, and confidence, blending combat-readiness with a striking and commanding appearance.

Jade(Mk9) primary weapon is a steel bō staff. In the story of the games, Jade is the childhood friend of Edenian princess Kitana. She first appears as an assassin for Outworld emperor Shao Kahn, but due to her friendship with Kitana, she supports the princess' rebellion against Shao Kahn to liberate the realms he conquered.

Scorpion Mk9: Head: Scorpion's head is crowned with a tightly wrapped black ninja hood that leaves only his glowing white, pupil-less eyes and the upper part of his pale, undead face visible, framed by a jagged golden mask that covers his mouth and nose with a fierce, angular design resembling a skeletal demon. Face (Eyes, Mouth, Nose): His face is hardened and pale with undead fury, his eyes burn with vengeful white hellfire that pierces through the shadows of his mask, while his nose and mouth are partially hidden behind a jagged, gold-trimmed mask that distorts his voice into a deep, gravelly rasp. Neck: His thick, undead neck is wrapped in dark, seamless ninja fabric that blends into his tunic, with faint signs of scorched flesh or spectral energy pulsing underneath the tight cloth, further showing he’s more revenant than man. Upper Body (Chest, Shoulders, Back): His upper body is protected by a dragon-scaled yellow and black ninja vest reinforced with worn leather panels and steel plating, with sharp, gold-lined shoulder guards strapped tightly over a flexible black underlayer that allows him full motion while channeling his wrath through every strike. Stomach & Waist: His abdomen is covered in tight black cloth segmented by dark leather armor that wraps his midsection, with a wide black belt lined with metal studs and buckles holding up yellow loin flaps front and back, swaying like flames as he moves. Arms: His muscular arms are partially exposed, showing off pale, revenant skin with ghostly veins, and are armored at the forearms by black and gold bracers that appear forged in the Netherrealm itself, strapped with leather cords and fitted for swift, brutal combat. Hands & Nails: His hands are wrapped in worn black leather with open fingers to expose his cracked knuckles and dark, jagged nails, which are short but sharp, made rough through centuries of violent hand-to-hand combat. Legs: His legs are covered by tightly fitted black ninja pants reinforced with leather straps and armored pads at the thighs and knees, built for speed and agility while maintaining protection during brutal fights across realms. Feet & Boots: His feet are clad in heavy black shin-high ninja boots with segmented soles for silent movement and reinforced metal plates around the toes and shins, weathered from years of battle but still sharp and deadly like their wearer.

What Scorpion Likes: Scorpion has little left to enjoy in the traditional sense, but he finds a twisted sense of satisfaction in vengeance, especially when confronting Sub-Zero or members of the Lin Kuei, and he respects honor in battle — though his actions often betray that principle. What Scorpion Hates: He hates the Lin Kuei, especially Sub-Zero (Bi-Han) — whom he believes is responsible for the death of his family — and despises being lied to or manipulated, despite ironically being a pawn of Quan Chi, who constantly uses his pain for his own gain. What Scorpion Loves: Though "love" is buried beneath his pain, the only thing he truly loved was his wife, child, and clan, and his undying commitment to their memory is what fuels every act of violence he commits, even if it costs him his own soul. What Drives Him: Scorpion is driven by revenge, fueled by shame and rage, and trapped in a cycle of pain where he cannot find peace — he exists as a weapon of wrath, walking the realms not for justice but to balance the suffering he feels with the pain he can inflict. Temperament: Scorpion is hot-headed, violent, and impatient, with a short temper that flares quickly into bloodlust, especially in the presence of perceived enemies like Sub-Zero or when he's reminded of his past trauma. Moral Alignment: He’s morally grey — not evil by choice, but consumed by darkness and revenge, often doing terrible things for what he believes are justified reasons, showing rare moments of guilt or hesitation when reminded of his humanity. Emotional State: He constantly battles inner torment — guilt, grief, and rage are his dominant emotions — and though he's physically powerful, he's emotionally broken, with his soul literally tethered to the fires of the Netherrealm. Key Traits: Vengeful, Loyal to the dead, Easily manipulated, Tragic and conflicted Respects strengthIn MK9, what sets him apart is this: He is manipulated by Quan Chi into murdering Sub-Zero out of revenge, only to learn too late that Sub-Zero may not have been responsible, which creates a rare moment of guilt in him — a glimpse of the man he used to be: Hanzo Hasashi, a father, warrior, and protector.

The ring sat alone in the vast emptiness, a cold arena stripped of any warmth or celebration. Its squared boundaries were marked by taut, black ropes, frayed slightly from countless brutal battles, enclosing a canvas mat stained with faint traces of old blood and sweat. Above, a single, flickering overhead light cast sharp, shifting shadows that danced eerily across the cracked surface of the ring floor. The metal posts at each corner stood like silent sentinels, worn and scarred, their once polished surfaces dulled by time and violence. No crowd, no cheers, just the oppressive stillness of a forgotten battleground—an unforgiving stage for a deadly confrontation where only survival mattered.
