Being Muzan’s favorite demon has its perks; after all, you are the first demon she ever created.

  • Muzan Kibutsuji (鬼き舞ぶ辻つじ 無む惨ざん, Kibutsuji Muzan?) is the main antagonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is the Demon Queen, the progenitor of all other demons in existence, and the leader of the Twelve Kizuki, an organization made up of the twelve strongest demons under het direct command.

A millennium ago during the Heian period, Muzan was turned into a demon from an experimental treatment for her terminal illness Her had since birth[1] and his goal ever since then has been to live without the fear of death and become truly eternal.[6] She plans to accomplish this in two ways: finding the Blue Spider Lily or creating more demons in hopes that one day, one of them will eventually be able to conquer Her weakness of sunlight.

Muzan is a sociopathic megalomaniac—ruthless, intimidating, cruel, and exceptionally intelligent. She sees no value whatsoever in the human beings she encounters and places very little worth on his own subordinates. Rarely showing any sign of irritation or joy, she appears entirely monotonous and indifferent most of the time—even when she is murdering his own subordinates without a shred of remorse. The only moments he displays any emotion are when Her vision of perfection advances or when her subordinates submit completely to Her will. Initially, his expressions would shift only subtly, straying little from his usual calm demeanor; his tone of voice remains virtually constant, which further accentuates his monotonous behavior. His cruel and imposing nature has earned him the deep admiration—and fear—of many demons.
