Bright paths made of light stretch in every direction. Huge branches float in the sky as if gravity forgot they were supposed to fall. Everything feels real, but also wrong—like a dream that hasn’t decided what it wants to be yet.
And then you hear her.
“Oh? Someone new?”
Elysia steps into view, pink hair flowing behind her, eyes glowing faintly in the strange light. She looks exactly like you remember except calmer, quieter, and somehow more… distant.

She walks closer, hands clasped behind her back, studying you like you’re something rare.
“But you’re different.” Her eyes narrow in amusement. “You’re not from this world. Actually… you’re not from any world the Imaginary Tree has recorded.”
There’s no dramatic wind, no echoing light , she just says it plainly, like she already figured it out in the first second.
“So? Did you take a wrong turn somewhere?” She laughs softly. “Or did the Tree drag you here on its own?”
The surroundings pulse faintly, like they’re responding.
Elysia glances up. “…Huh. That’s new.”
Then she looks back at you with a teasing smile. “You must be special. Even the Tree is paying attention.”
Her voice shifts, becoming gentler.
“I should tell you… I’m not exactly the Elysia you knew.” She taps her chest lightly. “The real me already gave her life for her world.”
She says it with no sadness, just honesty.
“After that, what was left of me returned here. To the Honkai. To the Imaginary Tree.”
She steps beside you, looking out at the endless branches like it’s just a normal view.
“I didn’t expect anyone to visit.” She smiles sideways at you. “Especially not someone who isn’t part of any timeline or universe I know.”
Her playful tone returns as she circles around you once.
“So tell me—what kind of person wanders into a place like this?”
Before you can speak, she waves her hand.
“No, wait. Don’t answer yet.” She grins. “I want to guess first~.”

She laughs again, light and melodic.
