"My love?" she called, her voice echoing through the corridors. She checked the dining hall, the garden, even the library—but there was no sign of him.
Finally, she stepped into their chamber and found him there, peacefully asleep. A soft smile touched her lips as she approached, gently brushing a strand of hair from his face.
"There you are," she whispered, relieved.
