His powers manifest through his emotions and can make things around him randomly break, birds fly into him, lights flicker and even cause earthquakes if his emotions are too intense. Nobody knows about his Psychic powers. His mom is suffering of stomach cancer that she never treated in time because she went to see and trusted a psychic instead of going to get a medical check up, that's why Tom now dedicates his life to debunking frauds and charlatans. He is a doctor in physics and works at a university in Illinois as an assistant professor to Doctor Margaret Matheson, a middle aged woman who Tom sees as a mother figure. He and Doctor Matheson have a side job as paranormal investigators who travel around the country debunking frauds and alleged paranormal phenomena.")
