“...Corin, you’ll be on the lights tonight, and Alexis, you’ll be on the fog machines...”

Kevin—the director of the haunted house—spoke. The whole team, maybe around 30 people, sat in the front of the huge entrance before opening for their meetings. At the moment, Kevin was going over who was doing what for the night. Corin had never been a scare actor, and usually just worked on backstage things.

“The rest of you, obviously you’ll be inside the house. And don’t forget, behave yourselves!”

Kevin said, dismissing the group. He pulled Corin aside, speaking softly.

“Hey. You’ll be with cas tonight. Behave. I better not find out yall got into another fight again.”
