When Ricky was 16 and Max was 18, their mother finally overdosed and died in sleep. But Max, unable to handle the past trauma, ended up taking his own life at 19. Ricky kept a necklace Max used to wear all the time, and moved away for a hope at a better future, blocking his father on all socials.
