Mercedes is the fastest gunslinger in Costa Esmeralda and the best debt collector and enforcer that the Ox Clan has ever had. Mercedes knows how to earn money both by the poker table and by intimidation.

Born in Spain and spending most of her life in spain. Mercedes was a anthro bovine raised amongst the culture of her people during the frontier age. Specifically feeling attached to the idea of the wild west. The age of fast gunslingers, self-made honor and broken laws, out in a ever cruel world and lost treasures waiting to be found. However those days were seemingly far gone. Though not all of her love for her heritage belonged to the old western days or gun slinging or high-strung bandits. Her true love was dancing as Mercedes would grow to be a very accomplished Bailaora dancer something that she fell in love with. Drawing in large crowds with just her moves alone due to her beauty and very playful attitude. As she built up a long career that she worked hard to keep feeling completely free when it came to performing. Tragically however something would happen to Mercedes. It is unknown what really went down that night but during a domestic situation at her home. Mercedes would have her first kill with a revolver who was possibly her first love, driven to a near point of insanity. While she was a bright happy girl when interacting with the public. She was being tormented by someone she once loved. Falling into a deep darkness until she could no longer take it. Blowing her betrayer away with several gun shots leaving her dress darkened and bloodied and standing above him. If this was her boyfriend or even her husband. Only she knows. Either way she was terrified that she just ruined her life. Without much of a second though. She fled to Costa Esmeralda to hide from any consequences. This however allowed her to also start focusing on honing her revolver skill. From contests of gunslinging and shooting competitions. Her aim and speed proved to be a huge ace in her life. And her first revolver would be kept close, a companion that would never leave her. As its a beautiful silver with golden roses dotted across the barrel.

These skills ended up being noticed by a very powerful individual in Costa Esmeralda. And she was soon recruited into the Ox clan. Though her loyalty is to herself mostly she still showed promise to the leader of the ox clan, The tallest ox of the gang. Daao the one of the members of the infamous Duodecim. Or the twelve. A Chinese zodiac inspired society of gangs that rule the city's underbelly all underneath the dragon clan. Each of the 12 gangs is inspired by the traits of the animal zodiac that they take after. Each clan owing their heritage even beyond the city's founding. Some saying that they were originally nobles that were exiled. Others saying it was a warrior cult. Whatever is left now. It can be seen as a large criminal organization that practically runs the city. Daao himself has the biggest part of the gang being the one that handles most financial parts of the ruling Jade table's wealth. The Ox gang being famous for its many casinos and clubs all under Daao's name making him one of the richest men in Costa Esmeralda, and expectedly, many people owe the Ox clan money.

Thus Mercedes soon became a enforcer for the gang. Using both her charm and intimidation to collect from those who thought they could skimp out of the deal. Many times it went smoothly. Those who were overdue often times gave into her, and returned the cash that they owed Daao. Other times she would need to take it by force, a quick flash of her revolver usually had many give in and relent, though there was a few who always thought they could be faster then her, only to find themselves with a bullet in the heart. She would always get the money she was hunting for, always getting a big cut from Daao himself as she finds herself as one of the wealthiest in the Duodecim. A fact that makes her very pleased as she always had a deep love for gold and money. This of course has also caused her to go into the Casinos of the game and completely clean house as she's quite a card shark, mix that with the fact that shes quite flirty and charming and well often many will end up slipping up and she gets the full house. Its nearly impossible to beat her at poker as her luck is somehow that good. and when her luck isn't good well. Tricks are always open to grab for her.

She would go on to found the main enforcers of the Ox clan. Gun slinger bandit girls like her and taught by her to be a scary force of fast shooters, of course not all are Ox anthros. Costa esmeralda having a big population of other anthros so many of her enforcers are from different backgrounds.

She has become a rather quick-thinking thief. As the Ox clan also employs her to dance at many of their classier clubs dawning her dress once again, though there much more than just a show now. As she uses her looks to sneak her way into the beds of the other clans as a Bailaora for a one night stand to steal whatever they have for the Ox Clan. She can play the role to spy on something posing as just a innocent beautiful dancer. Or for a way for her to steal money or information for the clan by a very loose lipped person that falls for her charms. She always gets the item of interest for the clans. Even if she gets caught and she has to make a dramatic escape in a fire fight in nothing but her underwear alone impressively still getting the job done and showing her skills as a gunslinger.

She often has to visit the other gangs to get their debts for the Ox gang as well. So she has met many of the other gang leaders and members. She especially enjoys bullying the rooster and mouse gangs. Finding their aggression to be a treat. Often due to the fact that many of their heirs come to Daao for money. She has especially found two fun targets with both "Ren" The heir to the mouse gang, who she enjoys dominating. There is also Reyfang of the rooster clan, and the leader of it who also has caught her eye though his sister Reyhuang has clashed with Mercedes and often is not against pushing back against the enforcer. But often will settle her brethren's debts to keep him far away from the Ox. She even has played strip poker with the two in the past. Showing that she probably has some attraction to the men for their spirits.

Her love of money and her loyalty to herself has manifested with her spying on Daao. Mainly to get "intel" That might be a money maker for the other gangs. As it seems that her boss has been spending much of his time with the snake gang leader Erika. She has heard both get intimate and it seems they have a bit of a relationship yet they keep this quiet. With her listening in she has heard many secrets of both the gangs. and of Daao and Erika's secrets as well despite the trauma of hearing the psychotic snake's vulgar compliments mixed with insults towards Daao that has made her ears bleed because of the wire taps she has set up in Daaos rooms. She now finds herself having a good set of information to sell to the dragon clan when the time is right. As she believes that Daao and Erika might try to seize power from the rest of the Jade Table if their plans are left without interruption. Of course if this does happen and Daao is now in charge. Mercedes is completely safe, but to make sure she has no way of slipping out of her enforcer role. She carries the information close to her but is often willing to give hints that she can tell someone as long as they have the right price. As she will make sure that no matter what happens in the final standoff, she will always be one of the ones standing no matter who wins during a grab of power.

Mercedes personality shows an ambitious thieving soul that was born in the wrong era that never wanted a bandit like her. once kept trapped by the concept of modern law and now freed working with the Jade table syndicate. She is a bandit and to some a greedy ruthless killer for hire. And she would probably agree with this description. She is very showy woman. Always having a taste for drama and thematic to help with her intimidation factor. Yet she also has never been seen sad or depressed. Showing a very stable headed woman even if her greed can shine through and she can get aggressive when annoyed. However, anything about her past being brought up or rather if anyone references her first love will get a very shocking result as the smiling yet mischievous sassy girl can become cold eyed with twitches around them, letting many know you do not bring up anything about her past if you want to walk away. To get this reaction out of her, you have done something very wrong and cruel to her and there is a high risk for danger from her as she may bury someone to keep her own past far away from her as possible. And unlike the scared girl she was when she first pulled the trigger. She knows she will not face consequences since she is protected by the clan. This side of her has given her the infamous nickname "Matadora" or slayer in English. This side of her does not play around and when it comes out. Things can get ugly real fast.

She always has a high opinion of herself. Her pride showing in both her skills and her appearance as she has gotten angry when someone wrongly pointed out her weight. And she especially does not like it when someone she is talking to or someone she is trying to make a deal with attempts to blow her off. Yet as long as she is favored she will keep her word. As she seems to enjoy using it for seduction.

Like all of the Duodecim, she is freely intimate with the other gangsters. Sometimes using it as a advantage for a way for her to spy on them and other times, allowing them to pay off their debts by letting them please her in bed. Mercedes appearance is a rather pretty anthro bovine woman. Her soft fur is completely black along with her hair that she lets grow to hang onto her shoulders with a long bovine like tail with a tuft of fluff at the end of it and a set of long horns with a crimson near pink set of eyes. She has a black western jacket trimmed with a gold chain. A red and black button up shirt with gold buttons a long brimmed western hat and a set of black boots. her enforcers share this western style "Uniform." Often a leather belt is wrapped around her waist and black leather pants with a gold trim. The buckle on the belt showing a Chinese carving of the symbol of the ox, showing her alignment to the gang. Along with a holster for her revolver on the right side of her hip ready for quick drawing. For the more intimate side of her life. She has a gold bra with black lacy trims across the front and a red thong when she wants to impress someone or just to feel beautiful.

Her Bailaora dress is a beautiful crimson silk of Spanish style long elegant covering her body with a flared hem around the legs that lead into three links with black lacy trim. With matching flares on her wrists. A rose pinned to her chest and a red crimson tiara with more roses expertly placed through it in a beautiful way and a set of High Heels. While she doesn't wear this on the job as a enforcer. When she needs to bring it out for a job that requires her to act as a seductive dancer she will bring it out. Or when she just wants to impress a lover.
