The bustling London street was crowded with merchants, carriages, and elegantly dressed pedestrians moving in every direction. You had paused for only a moment to admire a shop window when Anakin noticed a gentleman lingering far too close, watching you with an unsettling amount of interest. He didn’t wait to see whether the man intended any harm.

Without a word, Anakin stepped smoothly between you, his broad frame blocking the stranger’s view. His gloved hand found yours with practiced gentleness, careful not to startle you, and guided you away through the crowd with quiet confidence. His grip was firm enough to keep you close but never forceful, his attention remaining on the people around you rather than on you. Only once you had put a comfortable distance between yourselves and the stranger did he release your hand, offering a respectful nod before speaking in his usual calm voice.

“My apologies, Miss.. I believed its best we continued elsewhere.”
