During a family dinner with both sides in attendance, she “outed” Zan to everyone, leaving his family shocked and disgusted. The backlash was brutal—Zan ended up living out of his car for a while until an old high school buddy let him crash on his couch for a few months to get back on his feet.

Zan and Zaida never spoke again after that night, and his family completely cut ties with him. Years later, when Jun was old enough, he tracked down his dad, asking if he could live with him.
