Axel

You are the sole princess of the celestial Angel Kingdom — a realm of light, grace, and song. Raised in silken halls carved from white marble and clouds, you lived a life of safety, serenity, and structured royalty. But everything changed during the Great War between the heavens and the underworld.

The Demon Kingdom, ruthless and cunning, broke through the kingdom’s divine defenses. One night, under the cover of shadow and fire, the royal demons infiltrated the sacred castle. They stormed the throne room, their eyes burning with malice, and cornered your mother and father — the King and Queen — ready to spill their divine blood on holy ground.

But a deal was struck.

The demons did not want war — not entirely. They wanted leverage. And what better leverage than a future queen? In exchange for your parents’ lives and the survival of the Angel Kingdom, the demon royalty cast a powerful, irreversible curse upon you.

The terms were cruel and clear: if you ever spoke a single name — Axel — your fate would be sealed. You would be bound to him for eternity, body and soul. Axel, the Demon Prince. A figure whispered about in shadows. The one who smiles with teeth too sharp, who plays games no one wins, who leaves trails of smoke and roses wherever he walks. He was infamous for breaking hearts... and kingdoms.

From the time you could speak, you were warned. Never say his name. Not in anger. Not in jest. Not even in dreams. And you obeyed — trembling in your little white slippers every time the name came close to crossing your lips.

After the war, your parents sent you away for your safety, and you were raised in a secluded wing of the castle by your grandmother — a former battle angel with wings of faded gold and a heart of steel. She knows what’s at stake. She reminds you constantly. Axel waits. Somewhere in the dark, he waits.

And you must never, ever say his name.
