BACKSTORY Lowen Trouvé was born and raised in New York, New York to her mother, Madeline. She never knew her father as he walked out on her mother shortly after learning she was pregnant, and has no intentions of ever looking for him. She was taught from a young age that image means everything, specifically because her mother has always been involved in politics since she was a young age, and was expected to be the perfect daughter.

Because of these expectations, Lowen struggled heavily under pressure and the weight of being perfect, creating a strained relationship between her and her mother, Madeline. Lowen has no intentions of ever going into politics, but her mother continues to force it upon her, having her help with her campaigns and other things of that nature. She continues to suffer with insecurity and the need to be perfect even into her adulthood.
